idk if you know this, but this was pretty useful to me...

Hey! You know that trick where you escape from a main quest boss battle 'cause you died too many times?
Anyway, the trick is simple:
Whenever you're having trouble with a main quest boss and your guild's mercs can't kill it fast enough without you dying, all you have to do is to escape the battle then initiate the boss again, but this time dialing down the difficulty to easy. Idk if you guys already know this (you probably already do) but this was suuuuper helpful to me once a Toram veteran pointed it out to me.

this trick doesn't work on 'special encounters' and eventually even on easy mode the boss will be 50 levels higher than you and wipe your party

but here's another trick:
when you know that a main quest battle has NPCs that join you, make room for them in your party. even they have lower levels than your mercenaries, they revive you (or themselves) instantly with a single use of first aid.
