Insurance on refining

Hi everyone,
Im just concerned about insurance when it comes to refining. Its not my first time refining but its my first time encountering this kind of transaction. Can someone help me understand about it?

It’s a promise when he pass you the equipment to refine.
There been a lot of scammer provide refine services before, but they just take away the equipment and spina without return anything, there is also people take the equipment first but request double of the promise spina for the return.
So the insurance is provide an item that same value to the equipment he pass to you, if you didn’t return him the equipment, he won’t feel the lost as well.
