Why is it so easy for you to place your trust in a complete stranger? You have no one to blame but yourself.

 

Its not even a question of honesty anymore, you just walked into a dark backalley and someone suspicious with a hood talk to you: "kid, do you want some cheap crystals? give me the money first then I'll send them to your house later" and you said "yes" expecting him to be a trustworthy honest person.

 

that's not even remotely accurate to what happened, clear conversation with trade details. it is about honesty and living up to what you say your going to do. if you really don't see the logic behind that...

Most of the time, if they are blunt like that, and push you, don't do it. Theres 2 types of people that I know of regaurding trust: trust until they do something wrong; don't trust until they do something right. I'm the latter, the first type of trust mentioned is very risky in my opinion.

Something that helps me, if I must do something risky with a a stranger (usually it's me doing the favor, so they are iffy of me) I talk with them for awhile, I tell them about myself so they don't see me as a stranger. We become friends, even if the original offer isn't complete for like half an hour or more. It's better than wasting your time and spina. And the time spent making that spina xD
