Is it okay to be a bow-equipped hunter with no CRT?

Is it okay to play as a bow-equipped hunter/sniper without any Crit Rate neither from gears nor my character's status?

Or should I play as a bowgun-equipped hunter/sniper instead?

p.s. I might make him a pet summoner in the future too. That's why I prefer bow currently.

 

Critical is necessary for all physical classes. The critical damage boost is a really important multiplier for damage.
Even full dex will not protect you from missing certain bosses too.

I've never invested on gears yet to be honest, so they may look suck.
Armour: Sakura Kimono (NPC) => Medic Coat (NPC)
Additional.: Tapir Hood (1 slotted, currently empty)
Special: Dark Knight Amulet (1 slotted, currently +400 HP)
They're actually my mage's gears. And at first I planned on equipping them to my hunter cuz I'm lazy.
I thought it'd be great to have my mage and hunter bossing with almost no aggro,
so I mostly rely on equipment with +HP, +MP, and -Aggro.
By the way, I played only mages and no-damage tanks/breakers up until now.
As this will be my first physical dps, so I really had no idea about crit before asking.

The difference in mage and archer is that mages have mp charge to recover mp while archers mainly only have ampr so you should opt for more ampr theres gears like magician ring that gives +1000mp or +10ampr with -25% atk if you dont care about dps theres also xtas like tapir.
So far from what I have checked there are not many bosses that can dodge full dex char on normal mode so I guess you can do as a pet supporter without crit stuff.

I have accidentaly put Agi stat in my early phase as a noob. What will be the effect of agi in a bow user?

 

Use bow cause bowgun is hard to critical using snipe without crate arm. If i remeber from my previous example your dex should make up the crate depending on the boss using bow.
