Is MTL even useful?

Update , turns out it was a fractional followed up by the same fractional.

There are indeed fractional attacks that do 100% maxHP damage, the squires aoe, nightmare potums aoe and araneas aoe are a few examples. That means if you are using unrefined defence gears you are surely to die from them even if you are at full HP. This just makes refining all your defence gears to +C 10times more useful.

(•_•) lol, do u ever fighting yelb before,, ? the third jump of yelb when goes to def mode written as fatal dmg in combat log, I even didnt died after receive yelb fatal dmg, as long my hp below my 90% maxhp,,

 

There are times due to lag that you will die but for some reason revita will still activate which can make you think that you survived but actually for the system you died and immedietely got revived.
I have tried at all sorts of fractional attacks from different bosses including yelbs, ooze, scrader, warmonger never have i experienced "fatal damage taken" if i hadnt died from the hit.

You technically died and went to the kneeling position but then suddenly the revita proc'd and this all happened in a split second, and so it labeled as 'fatal' because you 'died' but was saved by the revita activating a few mili-second after you got hit.

If I remember correctly, 10 points on MTL give 1 percent. I had about 150 points on MTL, ailment resistant equips. It's good in its own way. Tried it on Roga and can resist knockbacks and others. So if you're looking for that kind of tank, it wouldn't be so bad.

 

If you are thinking about physical/magical resistance MTL gives none.
MTL only gives ailment resistance and it is about 1% per 2.5 MTL also its one of those stats that need a lot of points in it to work efficiently.
I have 40mtl for like 10months already now and I dont feel much difference so for me maybe at later caps when more stat is available.

Yeah, it certainly does require a lot of points to be efficient. That's why i deleted mine for a vit tank xD. Maybe later on i will rebuild a similar MTL tank.

 

Don't you usually have Vaccine and Recovery buffed on you anyway?

 

Vaccine is totally unreliable sometimes doesnt work if you already have the ailment, not to mention your revita will get locked for 10sec
Recovery is good but still it has a kinda hefty cost of 2mp both of them have the problem of not healing an ailment immediately like if you get ignite you will still get burned once before it gets removed by them.
And theres also ailments that cant be healed like flinch/tumble/knockback.
And now the cancer of all ailments called sleep

I feel like I could use some ailment resistance but at the same time dont wanna give up dat aspd from agi or dat cspd from dex.
