Is the -25% crit rate on BG skills overcomeable?

If I have a character who according to Coryn club has a 99% crit rate, if I put more crit on making it like 100% + would that make the -25% crit rate go down? Or is it no matter how much buffs put into crit, the crit rate will always be 75% on skills for bowgunner.

 

i believe the crit debuff only applies for snipe - If you're using bowgun you could just go for gunfu, and not have to bother with that. Chariot and Cross Fire would be your main DPS skills. the 50% stability sucks ass tho.

-25% crit rate is on Snipe only... But if u want to overcome the crit rate debuff on snipe it would require high crit.

 

Get meikyo shisui and use it in front of snipe. Meikyo gives +40 crit rate at level 10, so that would make your snipe's crit rate 115. I've heard some people say that snipe's crit penalty also affects meikyo's buff, but that would still be a crit rate of 105.

The only downside to using meikyo would be the fact that it also lowers your cdmg by 5% for the skill that it is used on, but in all honesty, -5% cdmg is barely anything when compared to always being able to land critical hits.

Another bonus of using meikyo is that you could also choose to get kairiki ranshin for an extra 100 ATK since it comes right after meikyo, though a kairiki ranshin build would eat EBs/revitas like crazy because of ignite.

 

1. You can go over 100% Crit in Toram. You can literally have a character with 200% Crit if you tried hard enough. What's the point of that? Nothing, you just made a really weak chara with a lotta Crit.
2. Worried about low stability? Use arrows. They work for Bowgun too y,know. I actually prefer BG over Bows because they can do more damage with stability of about that of a THS.
3. If you Gun-Fu, use rush. That motion speed buff is like.... 500× better

Probably chimera arrow. 300 mp and 6 crit rate. At least for neutral bosses.

 

Well, better have a collection of arrows for all occations. Since range attack's element comes from the ammo and not from the gun. You can stick to one or swap on the go.

 

Personally Chimera because that's a quality one. If you're poor idk, Artisan?
(Note that I need to remake a BG Chara and in full honesty am up to my left nut in seething anger for Toram)

With kariki should come recovery.. @ lv10 recovery is free when it either removes an existing ailment or prevents an ailment within 30sec.. and an ailment self-ignite certainly is. Jus toss a recovery on self before tossing gas and a match on self.. all good (do not try IRL lol)
