Is there a trick to refining S?

I've been refining my weapon for about 1-3 hours and I still can't get to A
And kept getting dregraded to C, I even fell all the way down from B to +9.

I've spent about 3m now and I think im doing something wrong.

I use orichalum for C to B on full tech smith
And hematite for B - A on a full luck smith

 

The trick is to have 255 luk stat irl

 

Sadly, im still waiting for a free stat reset irl
I've put all my points into MTL

 

Understandable, refining does automatically put a lot of ponts in MTL. If you're losing a lot of rssoureso I suggest calling it a day and trying the next day

 

I have a feeling I'll be broke before I even reach A. I've only reached A once because I had like 5 20% orb shop hammer things, it went back to B after the next refine tho.

Anyways i'll probably just stop refining this thing.

Here's my trick.

Have several items you want to get to +S. Around 10 Items.
Save up around 20M or so. You'll need the spina.


Get them all to B. Then go for A. If one fails, move onto the next one. So on and So forth.

From all those that you got to A. Try to get to S the same way.

Alternate between Hematite and Damascus. I don't know why but everytime i've done this, it's seemed to give me better chance of not failing.

 

The trick happens when the rng stops tricking you. Some say if you fail a lot continue it on another day. Like I can confirm it, I don't refine beyond +b haha

 

my best shot was spending 40 andeg(s) and hematite(s) from +C to +S with a full LUK BS.
i believe there's no tricks, so good luck next time.

 

Here are my tricks
I ussualy do Refine C to B with hematite/Mithril Ore Only with full luck (No Andeg) For save some spina
Even when u degrade to D, it will easy to back to C with TEC
When u hit B dont spam all of ur refine mats, then all u should do is degrading 2 other item with luck.
After u degrading some stuff, back to ur main gear, repeat it when u got A stuff
It always work on me.

Oh I might use that hematite from C to B trick that should be much cheaper than orichalum and andeg! Would take more time tho, dunno if my patience will last

I believe some myths, when I got lagged, it will degrade easily.
I ussualy do refine at Guild Bar or my home because it calm and lagless, sofya too crowded for my phone xD

 

i usually refine myself to sleep, endlessly tapping the buttons, woke up several times with a +S gear in hand

I always believe that refining is pure RNG...

You can always follow some crazy rituals people do to "increase success rate" what's important is that it urges you to click that button again and again

 

I do this myself alot, only difference is I wake up with a +E in hand and 3m spina gone...

 

dunno if its just me, but equipments thats in 'lock' mode feel more often fail and degrade. try unlock it first before refining maybe you will be more lucky.

Nope~ you cant refine it once its +S

 

Pure BS but i usually go to quite places. The more people chatting (shout/guild/party) the more i got irritated when it degrades. I go to int 3 and teleports to a lot of places especially when it degrades too much. If i feel i spent a lot i stop and try again next day.

 

1 question, when should I use the +500% success rate ticket?
