Is there any magic blade guide here? Need guide or reviews for thar build

    Yeah pal that branch is not for making a main class. As u can read it said magic devices. Its like shiekd skills and dagger skilks.

    About the best use I can figure for magic blade is quite a lot of utility and being able to do magic or phys for proration.. even if it's just using magic skills like impact and javelin to prorate for meteor, or using physical skills to prorate for storm or finale, or being able to do two tornados... storm first which is magic proration, then tempest which deals physical damage but prorates like it's a magic skill.
    Another bonus of MD sub is: mpcharge casts just like MD is the only weapon. Which also makes maximizer behave just like MD or staff main hand. So magic blade could actually cast two 'tornados' then recover more than that 800 mana with mpcharge>maximizer
    There's also.. I think its 30AMPR in one of the magic blade skills.
    There's lots of possibilities for magic blade.. & granted if one wanted to compare storm/tempest damge from a mage/sword only character on a one skill for one skill basis.. the single purpose character would do more damage with the one skill. But what if the magic blade casts both storm and tempest? or meteor and finale? I'd bet magic blade would give a only sword/magic character a great run for their money if not beat 'em on total damage because many proration skills at the magic bladesman's disposal where a purely sword or purely magic character would have only one damage type and autoattacks at their disposal.

    Far as an already tested stat and or skill reccomendation.. I don't have that. If I were going to make one without a personal stat I'd probably start off half dex half int. That's assuming I want to be equally capable with magic and phys skills. If the character's intent would be physical for main damage and magic for alt dmg - full dex then int is how I'd go. Or conversely if the character's main offense is going to be magic skill tree.. full int then dex, although would need some dex along the way if plan to use physical at all.

    & may need crit rate and crit dmg gear to actually crit with magic skills while weaken is on the target. Cr & Cd would certainly always help with physical skills dmg

    im doing both magic and physical build my main problem is the casting time for the magic skill when doing both physical and magical combo. Can you explaine to me how element slash works? My element slash always hit but i dont see my magic skill crit do i need elememtal weapon to make my magic skill crit?

    Dex helps reduce cast time some.. there's also philosopher's ring, and some weapons available with cspd%, as well as some armors and additionals with 500cspd (like holy robe zaldo, nightcap and mysterious hood additionals)

    Far as element slash.. chance to weaken is only 10% if MD sub element is not the target's weak element. If MDsub is the target's weak element then weaken chance becomes 100% at skill lv10. http://coryn.club/skill.php?tree=MagicBlade click Show More on element slash

    IDK if weaken means guaranteed magic crit.. or if characters crit rate comes into play for magic used on a weakened target

    how much cspd to make some magic skill become 1-2sec cast? I already have 2.3k cspd some of my magic skill is 3.5 secs to cast, by the way my stats is dex int

    3.5 sounds like mp charge.. it's just a long casting skill. If/when ya get maximizer that'll help a lot and be instant cast when it's the next skill used after mp charge.
    2.3k cspd I'd say you're sittin pretty good on cspd for things with 2sec base cast time or less (arrows, storm, similar). Pursuing even more cspd wouldn't help much because like several other mechanics there's diminishing returns on cspd.
    Magic blade happens to have other options for ampr as well: trigger slash from blade skills if you happen to have it jsut end combos with trigger slash and do some auto attacks. There's also ether flare but it may require md sub being the strong element against the target (aka the element a target is weak to).

    Element slash has 100% weaken proc rate, as stated before, if your MD is the correct element against the mob you're fighting. Weaken allows magic to crit, yes, but Magic cannot crit unless it has the correct element as well, this means your main hand weapon must have the correct element. Along with that, you need DOUBLE the normal crit rate to reach 100% crit (You need 200 crit rate to always crit with magic while weaken is inflicted), and CDMG is halved for magic skills that crit. Unfortunately, this is why people call the entire skill tree a joke and useless. The weaken ailment also only lasts 5 seconds, so you'll have to keep refreshing it. Element Slash also cannot crit at all, and against many (newer) bosses on hard mode or higher, you'll find it missing...a lot. Since it completely relies on the HIT stat which is just horribly unreliable.

    Cspd doesn't do much after 1000 unless it's in very large amounts, I wouldn't bother trying to get much higher because you'll miss out on dps stats, which magic blade desperately needs

    Magic blade will not ever beat a pure mage or pure blade user. Not where it's at right now. The entire point of the skill tree was the weaken ailment and using the utility of ohs to increase crit rate but it's been completely beaten down into a useless state by Aso

    yup it can't compete with pure mage and blade but i want as much possible is to spam my magic and blade skill to do a balance skill spam. I want more cspd so my magic skill don't hold my blade skill while doing some spaming combo skill as much as possible if there is a way to fix it i would appreciate it and help my build

    You could try something like this:
    Ether flare > Berserk (save) > Astute (cons) > Element slash (cons) > Impact (cons) > Storm (smite) > Buster (swift) > Trigger (cons or swift) that's either 100mp or 300mp depending on the tag you add to trigger and should be pretty quick

    From magic skill i got m.arrow, javelin, arrow lance, impact, finale, wall and magic blast
    Blade skill hard hit, astute and trigger slash
    Magic blade ether flare, elem slash, enchant blade and ressonance
    Thats all the skill i have

    Atm my Magic Blade char (lvl 117) is a mid-long range dps using mainly Sword Tempest (Magic proration) and Buster Blade (physical proration) as main dps skills.
    As self buffs I use berserk and resonance and power wave for auto attacks.
    Skills:
    Sword: Lv 10 tempest, lv 10 buster, lv 10 berserk and warcry.
    Magic: lv 7 impact, lv 1 finale (for combo finisher purposes)
    Magic Blade: lv 10 magic warrior mastery, lv 10 resonance, lv 5 the lower row.

    Stats: full STR rest DEX. The final build will be max STR, DEX, INT.

    Planning to add some more magic skills like Burst if I can confirm than the 2 magics from Magic blade tree do count for its cast time bonus.

    The overall performance is average atm. Sometimes I get the attacker rank, sometimes I don't. The max buster dmg I did was 90k per hit with the optimal proration and buffs at Don Yeti.

    Some things I noticed from playing this build:
    - Cast speed is absolutely mandatory (1'5k minimum) if u plan to spam magic skills since you are not a mage and your dmg will be lower so you need to compensate that with speed.
    - Resonance brings you the chance to replenish 50% of your max mp instantly during boss fights. Don't use it as a buff, reserve it for mp charging.
    - Enchant sword is absolutely trash, buff aside. Only the buff is worth.
    - If u plan to be a mage wanna-be you better use Knuckles since it gains 4 matk per int and have high stability. Get any knuckles with high attack and stability with fc16, armor with fc16 and stack as much crit rate as u can to make your magic skills stronger.

    Its curious that you are magic blader and get max damage with a skill is not from magic blade tree cx

    That because enchant blade is such a bad skill... Its dmg is comparable to buster blade but it requires you to be at the boss' arse and the animation is so low.
    The two real magic skills from the tree are weak for str users. Don't know for int users yet.

    uh 2h = nuker, 1h/md = 3/4cp smite combo with maximizer sure less nuke dmg but more stable dmg, even if 1h atk got evade u dont need to worry bout since maximizer insta heal all mp

    1h/md
    -less dmg
    -shorter combo
    -abuse the heck out of maximizer with smite combo

    So far, the best use of MD sub goes to Knuck MD.

    Maximizer and Resonance take out a big problem with knuck builds (Ampr).
