Is this bad RNG or...?

    I've been stat a Atk%7/CR19/CD19/CD4%.

    I'm using my full TEC character and all of the smith skills are max rank. The game tells me 49-52% depending on original potency, and I've done this on Coryn dozen times, also giving 49-52% success rate.

    I've been trying to that this weapon at least 10 times, if not 15+. I don't understand, am I missing something important or is that just horrible luck?

    Not sure if u know but each stat has its own % so 1 stat can fail whilst the rest may succeed but it will still be shown as the failed stat animation (does it have a animation when statting? I forgot)

    Just to clarify BK's post it means if it says 52% and there are 4 positive stats that matter, the 52% is applied to each one of then.

    0.52*0.52*0.52*0.52=0.07311.. expected value around 1 in ~13.5

    Each attempt has a 92.7% to fail... meaning that the chance of failing 15 times in a row... is a whopping 31%

    there's no RNG in statting, it's unfortunately a big fat math formula.
    the only RNG u get is if it's a gamble stat....u RNG whether or not it'll succeed

    RNG only applies if the final success rate isnt 100%.
