Knuckle + Md (star crossed pair)

All of my builds are SP Hungry (except for MAYBE my bowkatana)
I like getting the most out of everything I have, so I cut a decent amount of corners. Like how I dont get War Cry for most of my builds since I know so many people get it that I dont need to. If you see most of my builds, I barely ever have extra SP to play with since I calculate a lot ;w;

Seems to fill mp bar..but..what?
Same effect of ‘filling’ mp mar at lvl 1 n 10 or nah?
N...do we need mp charge and maximizer if it does the work of em ? (As it seems so..)

Resonance basically averages your HP with your MP, so people use it to heal MP since normally your HP is higher. averaging 7k HP with 0 MP makes both your MP and HP 3.5k (but MP caps at 2k) and it gives you a buff too. The buff is best at lv10 with a +S MD sub but it's random between 3 different buffs. If you only care about the MP i think lv1 is okay. It is instant so you dont need to wait for MP Charge+Maximizer, but you also sacrifice HP for it. I would get MP Charge and Maxim just in case and you get Power Wave which makes you a good distance Knux.

 

Okie..that..sounds handy .. but .. like quickaura = hp for aspd
So resonance = hp for mp..?
[Mp.C n Maximizer r must yes..but that 30 sp (flips table)]

Resonance is basically one instant MP charge and revita. You can also regen HP when in a pinch as long as you have enough MP. It's just that the cooldown is really long.

Yup so unless your ruining decoy spam or Maximizer don’t depend on it, also don’t use it in combos since combos with resonance cooldown will make the combo invalid and it cannot be used until the timer is over . All in all I love resonance not only for the mp but the buffs, it’s like rolling a dye and getting 1k aspd,1k cspd attack buff crt it buff etc. it’s really good if u have extra sp with nothing to do .


Knuckle burst is meh, you are better off getting finale tbh, the amount of magic attacks you might actually use in battle to make using it plausible the battle may be over before you do. Further more burst damage is laughable for any serious boss runs. Now I am not a burst hater is just that the cspd requirements are so high any attempts to it can leave your magic attack on the flimsy side , but no worries I have a build in mind that’s underway and is very cool.

 

Honestly I love Burst on my Knux, it does more damage than I honestly thought and plus it's something that I can just passively contribute some extra damage to.

how you solve the CSPD problem? My AGI-DEX only have 1.3K CSPD without buff, with buff may up to 2K I guess. After impact burst still need 1.33 cast time....

 

I'm no damage freak, I play to have fun, plus I know how DPS-centric this whole community is and as much as I hate it I cant fault anyone for it. I just don't want anything having a hissy fit over anything, I also enjoy putting my opinion thats contrary to at least show that sometimes the unexplored may turn out to be very good.

Honestly, I dont deal with the problem. I do AGI-INT and I use Impact enough in my comboes that after enough uses of Goliath and Chariot I can pull out a burst p quickly.
I micromanage physical vs. magical proration too much.

 

AGI-INT knuc-md? Hmm......that not in my list. Annihilator increase MATK as well? Didn’t notice about that.

sadly the new beam skill can’t use while MD as sub, else should be a nice skill for sub-md.

 

Yep it also provides a pretty great boost in MATK if you have conversion maxed.(around +400 or so when I tested it) ^^ This makes knuckle’s MATK potential very close to that of staff. The extra range, stability and impact alternative could make it an interesting alternative magic DPS class as well.

 

Yes knuckle is 2nd best in magic attack after staff which is funny since you would think md would take second place, but since md has such a low base attack it cannot beat knuckles where that is concerned to knuckle subbed md is an alternate to staff that’s provided that you’re not using finale to compare with staff ofc. Hopefully the t4 wizzard and priest skills will give knuc more options magic wise, if that happens than surely knuckle I’d going to get a lot of hate .

 

Nice, I was hoping for wizard skill because with this skill tree only I can have freeze, ignite and paralysis without element weapon.
