KOPI's 2H DPS build

Hello guys.

Some people I hv been met asked me about my build every now and then. So I decide to share it here.

My build is for doing high dmg on boss (single target). For other purposes like farming, tanking or breaking or disabling, I hv other chars for that.

Current lv: 47
Stats:
STR: 110
CRT: 36

Skills in Sword:
Hard hit: 10
Astute: 10
Trigger Slash: 10
Sword Mastery: 5
Quick Slash: 10
Sword Techniques: 10

Survival Skills:
Safe Rest: 5
HP Boosts: 10

And Magic Skills:
MP charge: 1

Now for Equipments:
Light Forest Wolf Garb (dropped) with silver roar crystal.
Fluffy Tail (thanks to 7Ayumi) with golden skel crystal.
Sofys Ring with eerie crystal.

For weapon I'm using either Volcanic Sword with Fire element and STR+5 or Volcanic Sword with STR+5 and crit rate+5 (no fire element). Both sword I made myself. Use fire sword on earth based like BD or ruin golem, and neutral with everything else.
I'm too lazy to farm mats, so some sword I'm using might be not as best as u might think.

For combo:
Astute > Hard hit (consecutive) > Trigger Slash (consecutive)

wow expensive stuff dude hahahaha

 

you can try this combo if you want to see your astute hits 10k+ hH > astute smite > trigger consec to maximize your dps. (4-5bars of mana)
also thanks for this vid i learn something. coz i just deleted my 2h warrior due to its stat to full str coz 90% of my combo's miss alot on forestia.

Thanks for the combo suggestion, but I prefer 2 bars MP combo.
As I said its a bit tricky to fight forestia.
CRT stats sure helps, but if I rely on it alone. My hit rate wont be as good as you see in vid.
The trick is that I maintained my attack/combo to have my astute buff on from beginning to the end of the fight, that helps a lot on hitting forestia.

Thanks for posting your videos. It would appear to confirm that critical hits always land. The only attacks I see miss are the few regular hits you have. I don't recall seeing any regular hit landing in this video.

Forget dex, max the crits!

So.....what about the skill point destributian???? Which skill is good to spend point in it n which is not...

Killer build. If I would have known crits never missed I wouldn't be low dex. You better believe I'm fixing that. Where should you aim for crit at lvl 55?

 

What is you're current stats at level 55?

 

My CRT is 40 at lv55. The rest went into STR.

 

Where do you place the extra Skill Points you have? And for the New Map Update, is there any changes for this build or none? Thanks!

 

that's my current build. though I manage to hit 20k for trigger slash without any combo with BD dragon. my eqpuipts are just for beginners though.
Gob bos sowrd +4 53attk. +2str xtal
BD Armor NPC crafted
BD cape
Sofys xtal +2str xtal.

Crit does contribute ALOT.
lvl 48
Crit: 40
Str 104+ (can't remember)

 

I don't see how you're hitting 20k with that equipment. Especially with out smite on trigger.

 

yeah, i was surpised too, Didn't manage to get a screenie though. next time, I'll get some evidence. but yeah, It can happen. saw another 2H swordie lvl 49 we were running R.Golem hunt, he hits 21k maximum combo. does hit 20k sometimes with just one skill. you'll see the damage by just ;ooking at the HP bar of the boss. then you'll know he hit mad! he IGN by the way is Razhiel.

 

I'm lvl 59 125 str 40 crit and with a 69 atk v sword I haven't seen my self hit over 18k with astute smite.

 

for my skills, I have Astute + Hard Hit + Trigger Slash, back then I dont' have a Smite combo yet, cuz I never knew it existed as of yesterday.
as far as I remember the highest damage I had with Astute is 8+K, Hard Hit 9-10+K, Trigger, suprisingly 20+k
though is looks astounding, it does not apply every time, It can have a crit of 15k but with just 1 skill.

 

Can someone confirm if trigger is more powerful?

 

Trigger slash is quite strong. The atk mp recovery effect is last until u use next skill.
Thats why I arrange combo to have astute first, so the other skills in combo get more chance to crit (effect from astute stay for like 10 seconds?). And have trigger as last skill in combo, so that my normal atk get more mp. I can fill 2 mp bars in few hits and can use combo again.

As of now, I like the way it is here. More than putting smite which does big dmg, consumes more mp and slower on mp recovering.
