Loli yusarin Guide#1:How to not get scammed by scammers

I'm making this thread for ppls who are a scammer magnet(always being targeted by scammers)
if u r buying a gem run/pierce/extraction serv/refine/stat serv/blablabla idc just don't get scammed by following this easy tips

1.ask for a screenshot of the item u wanted to buy and ask the seller 2 add and send the screenshot to u on Line(all)
2.the seller said that he/she doesn't have a Line? Facebook._./Kik._./blackberry messenger._./etc._.(all)
3.if you say that you don't have any social media then you're the scammer ._. #JK(none,Lol)
4.if the seller gives u an ss of the thing but you're still unsure about it then ask the seller to give u an ss of it with you in the background(all)
5.ask them if you can pay in battle/last(if you're paying in battle then read the chat log first,if you see the gem then pay)(gem runs)
6.never pay 50% 50% without any proof that the seller has the thing(all)
7.never give your equipment if the seller won't give u a ss of the thing(piercer/xtract)
8.to avoid stat service scammer:ask the seller to screenshot his/her mats bar&skills&stats and take a quick glance at their lvl
example:-current lv cap=110
if they're using a character with a lvl lower than 110 and said that it's his/her statter then that is a 10000% scammer
-current lv cap=115
u may trust the stater that are using lv 110-115 character(stat service)
9.avoiding refiner scammer by asking them to screenshot their ores and things 4 refining and take a look at their lvl,a trusted refiner shud be a lv 100+ player(refining)
10.if the service seller are a forumerz, be aware of new member-> well-known member(under 80 message)(not pointing at the innocent ones)
11.for any sale on forums, ask for screenshot, someone to vouch for them
12.play dumb with them(pretending that you will follow their plans) and find out their plans to scam
13.dare them to send you a message on the forums/social medias
14.don't get too emotional or else you can't get them to spit out information and report them here
15.ask for insurance(not xtall/not equipments) but shop name/popularity(this is way more precious)
16.if you're the seller then give your popularity/shop name for a insurance(don't be afraid even if the buyer said that you're the scammer........They don't even have a proof of it)
17.don't get too hasty on a trade and check the item details
18.if sm1 is selling u a service and ask u to trust him/her by just using the party system,it's 85% a red flag coz he/she are able to logout/disband/leave the pt
this is my way to avoid scammers,if u have a tips that you want me to add here just type it in the coment.
19.if the seller told you that u don't have Line on the same device then tell them to make a dummy social media on their toram phone (ex:Kik requires about 95.35 MB[87.35 for the app and about 8 for the 1 chat/contact] and Line requires roughly 130 MB[122 for the app itself and again about 8 for the 1 chat/contact]) if they can't do that,chances of scammer 70%
ofc the one who does that will get a credit 4 it

On topic great beginner guide! I feel scamming has kind of toned down since 50 cap days.

 

Scamming is still done a lot. I don't think it has ever toned down honestly.

 

It was much more common during the time when trades didn't show the appearance of the gear (c arm app scamms)

Even though people may seem friendly, they're still all strangers.

Wtf mind as well don't buy... XD I mean that is a lot of hassle you know... (if the scammer really wants to scam, then youre wasting time lmfao)
But I guess your 16 steps of precaution against scammers seems good lol

 

Also found that scammers tend to
"beg" for insurance
or ask for some kind of weird deals like paying in 2 instalments instead of all the money at once when the service has already been done.
some try to rush you for money or payment up front (especially by offering super low prices)so that you neglect to check what you're buying/insuring- ALWAYS look at what you're getting before accepting as buyer seller & monetary insurer

 

I honestly don't have Toram and social media apps on the same device due to memory issues so I legitimately can't ss to show anyone anything so I just use the Consignment Board or gift it/do the service for someone I know apart from leveling and for leveling service from 1-25+ I just let the buyer decide what they think a fair price is or even just do it for free if they decide they don't want to pay at all while I'm farming wood material pts at Nisel

 

that seems more fair and logical but I'm not selling or offering anything at this time plus have an older Android phone that doesn't ss the way all other devices nowadays are able to so for your guide I should either wait until I have a new device or learn how to use the ss feature in game(didn't really care about that feature before now because I just kill things, use my own Spina from farming to get clean slate gear then stat and resell it on the Board) before I start offering any form of service apart from leveling however I've actually done leveling service free a few times this week. okay Chika and I tried both that method as well as Power+volume down button on the phone I play Toram on neither way took a ss on the 3G Android phone I use x3

 

Alright learned how to do it now. There actually isn't a home screen button on this phone but I was too impatient trying to ss with the power button+volume down button combo since my tablet takes a ss instantly with that method and the phone takes a few seconds since it has a weaker processor x3

Dont forget to check item names when buying lots of stacks... You'll never know when your roga belt magically transforms to apple skin...

 

This is exactly why I check every stack before completing trade when buying NC through trade instead of off the Consignment Board
