An alternative build (NPC gear only) that aims to be more helpful in parties during (and after) battle, rather than focus on pure DPS.

Very situational:

Spoiler: Noone is prorating?

Get your motion speed buff maxed, then spam crazy-fast autos from range with meikyo buff: GSW, GSW, target enemy, GSW combo (2)

Spoiler: Party is missing a stun?

Smash combo (1)

Spoiler: Need emergency interrupt?

Use Sonic Wave combo (4) for a 100% tumble from anywhere

Spoiler: Support during battle?

Use Brave Aura and include Warcry in combo 4

Spoiler: Support outside of battle?

Spam Chakra as many times as necessary to regen MP for everyone. MP Charge+Maximise to refill own MP afterwards.

Spoiler: Pure DPS mode?

Spam 2x Meikyo combo (3). MP Charge+Maximise to refill MP. Repeat. Note: you may also wish to switch to a highly-refined a7cd7cd16 staff for this mode for more damage output.

Outside of all of the above situations, just find a safe spot to stand and use main Sonic Wave DPS combo (4)
