    NOTE before READ :

IT BASICALLY SAME SETUP WITH MY PREVIOUS EVOKER & GODHAND BUILD
    Evoker Build : http://toramonline.com/index.php?threads/evoker.33067/
    Godhand Build : http://toramonline.com/index.php?threads/god-hand-build.35306/#post-385670

*let's skip the introduction.., and here I'm present to you.., a Red Mage Build ~

    Red Mage :
Red Mages typically cast both Black and White Magic and can also wield swords and equip armor that normal Black and White Mages cannot. They are, in essence, among the more versatile characters of the series. However, their versatility comes at a price: their stats are usually low, and they cannot cast higher level spells.

The Red Mage is a jack-of-all-trades, but a master of none.

NOTE : As usual .... this is not a perfect build, and im still working on it...

so for this build there's two variety of build :

    1. OHS + Dagger (Melee Oriented)
    2. OHS + MD (Magic Oriented)

    lets begin with stat..,

    for Stat :
    INT : 255
    DEX : REST

Q : Why melee not focusing on dex ?
A : because among all magic weapon (which had stat that increase ATK by INT), 1H Sword get the highest bonus .., ( 1 INT => 1.5-2 ATK ), and because we still play around "additional magic attack", so int is the best option

Main : Icebrand Glacier - Lapin the Necromancer
    Off hand :
    - Magical Dagger
    - Anykind of Magic Device that doesn't make u look ugly

Armor : Mozt Armor - York / Goldoon
Additional : Tentacles Roar - York / Baphomela

    Special :
    - Philosopher Ring - Lalvada
    - Spirit Tree Bangle - Lalvada

    Q : Why dagger then ?
A : Magical dagger currently is the best dagger that provide us +70% additional magic damage

Q : is it worth to equip MD ?
A : i know.... -15% ATK is really matter in hand, but u also got all benefit of MD when using magic skill.., so yeah.. i guess its kinda worth

    Note :
    Red : Main Skill
    Green : Optional
    Yellow : Dagger as sub
Blue : Magic Device as sub

Sword Skill (most of it are Buff Skill)

    Hard Hit - 5
*BUFF* Astute - 6 (+25 Crit rate, 9 sec duration)
*BUFF* Trigger Slash - 6 (increase AMPR, motion speed of next skill)
*BUFF* Rampage - 10 (our main DPS buff skill)
    Sonic Blade - 5
*BUFF* Spiral Air - 10 (+20 Crit Damage, 10 sec duration) (due lack of str, we can increase crit damage by spiral air)
    Sword Mastery - 5
    Quick Slash - 5
    *BUFF* Warcry - 10 ( +10% ATK buff )

    Magic Skill

Magic arrow - 5/10 (take 10 if u prefer magic oriented class)
    Magic Javelin - 5
Magic Lance - 5/10 (Optional, possible for next skill revamp)
    *BUFF* Magic Impact - 7
    MP Charge - 5
    *BUFF* Quick Cast - 10
Power Wave - 1/10 (Optional even thought not recommended.., take this if u feel need play more into range hitter)
    Magic Wall - 5
Magic Blast - 10 (I'll put this skill on this list because of skill revamp) (VERFLARE Skill)
Magic Storm - 10 (Optional for lvling purpose and DPS AoE)

    Mononofu Skill

    Bushido - 5

Shukuchi - 10 (GOD I LOVE THIS PASSIVE....., Dash,+25 ampr and +50% auto attack damage.. couldn't ask for more)
Note : this skill really boost Rampage's damage A LOT (yeah folks the auto attack damage stack with rampage buff) ..., even thou u need to always move in order to trigger the dash attack. u can also recover almost 1 bar MP every hit when using Rampage + Shukuchi + Trigger Slash Buff.

    Halberd Skill

    *BUFF* Quick Aura - 10
    Flash stab - 5
    Deadly Spear - 5
*BUFF* Punish Ray - 10 (+100% Crit Rate on next skill, u can take this skill if u think that u need dealt more physical attack) (and it make the last 3 hit from Rampage sure crit)
Strike Stab - 10 (another potential melee DPS sKill, but the damage output not really that great (if u compare with another OHS build that also using strike stab)
.. but still the highest number on the list)

    Dagger Skill

    Throwing Knife - 5
    Spike Dart - 5
    Poison Dagger - 1/10
    Hidden Arm
    - 10
    Intense Knife - 10
    Mail Breaker - 1/10

    Survival
    HP Boost - 10

    *gonna update soon...

    Combo (WIP) :

    Quick buff Rotation (100 MP)
Hard hit -> Spiral Air (Save) -> Astute (swift) -> Trigger Slash (Cons)

I kinda wouldn't recommend rampage tbh I been fiddling with this same build awhile now and I noticed 2 things 1 is hidden arm (if you use it) gets extremely weak in rampage like 35 damage weak 2nd is additional magic/melee procs wayyyyyyyy less during rampage where auto attack for me it's like every other hit(and by less I mean like 2 procs tops maybe if your lucky during rampage) Imma keep using sword but it may be easier to use the ice wep staff instead+dagger if additional procs with power wave you can be a range magic knight even get a few priest buffs to keep you alive or try the magic device ice wep that's just my 2 cents tho from what I been experimenting with

we just gotta find a way to mix it together far as I can tell there is 2 kinds of magic swordsman the auto attack kind and the skill spam kind the skill spam kind would prob be int/str str/int and dex depending on If you prefer physical or magical moves I think it would be a sword fu only with dagger maybe or even arrow maybe with fu you can replace replace dex with agi because they have so many boss deop gears made for this type of build magic swordsman garb our world armor mozto armor everyone just so focused on wanting tempest and storm which makes no sense to me they always fail if more physical use magic skills for ailment and protration like magic blast would be good and lance vice versa if more magical use holy fist as a dps skill it's description pretty said its made for this type of build make customs stat wep I got a m.device that's cd7%cr15mattk7% i think staff would still be best for this build because of the gain it gets from attack and mattk just call it a mage fighter or something it's the closest we gone get to a magic knight trust me I want a magic swordsman more than anything I mean look at the game I came from but I'm poor and new I just been reading up alot so I leave you pros to make the dream a reality

I know this is an old thread but just wanna say this build is not gonna work. OHS+Dagger relying on additional attack may sound like a promising concept but in practice additional attack proc rate can't be boosted (cmiiw) and it only boosts the damage. Not worthed imo even with all the buffs you apply to yourself the most you could get out of it is to provide auto proration to your party (quite useless). OHS+MD focusing on both ATK/MATK just doesn't work. This isn't unison league where you could raise atk/matk without any downside. You can only focus on one, or not at all (which is highly not recommended since what's the point then?). But then again it's your game, your decision. Who am i to tell you what to do? I'm just presenting my opinions. Do correct me if i'm wrong :)
