LV215 Mages Combo Tests (9/11 The relationship of burst, imperial and finale)

A bit surprising that I have to post one thread before my bishop and caster build passage... Anyway, I rushed my work so don't expect any quality

Imperial Burst Combo

I guess I will work on bishop Combo first before I go on further testing these caster combos

Btw, I have tried mp charge and finale with invincible, seems it does not work with cast and charge most of the time

 

I thought invincibility tag was based on the position of tag in the combo, but actually it's on combo size. 10 skills in combo = 100% invincibility even at 2nd skill. Nice

 

Does your build include cd cr equips? I tried burst imperial with finale equips and I'm still working on it

 

Yes. My staff is element, matk+4%, crt dmg +20, crt +20, to element 20% My arm is m+3%, crt dmg +20, crt +20, to element +20%
Well, that's one of the reasons I haven't release the build before this update, so awkward....

 

Will you be able to update your guide with bishop build and combo? They seem really viable in concept and in practice

 

U mean the lv160 one in forum or the lv215 one? Anyway, I was planning to release it this week but postponed cause of this update. No worry, i will release it at the end

Mtl Finale Bishop

 

Something to cover the low dps weakness of mtl mage. Not sure whether it works on gsw finale user

 

1. The use of Imperial -> Burst
Following is testing the new combo for easy avoiding attack with burst. Imperial is very useful for reserving the burst stock, so burst can be used to avoid the attack when needed

2. The use of Burst -> Finale
Inspired by thread: holy light new meta mage skill. Yup, i originally was testing bloodsucker tag with holy light but found its damage is too low when it comes to high mdef boss. Besides, holy light cast time is too long for mtl mage. Therefore, i finally come to burst



How about Finale -> Imperial? xD
Hope i can demo it when i have time later...
