Lvling pet spots

Particularly for pets with the skill 'Cover'.

The damn thing dies on masked warrior and yelb too easy.

 

maybe you can try go mini boss like violacoon or dy. I also have pet with cover skill and lvling just fine in masked. what your pet nature? I'm using sly on my pet

The problem is that the damage I don't have any skills to heal the dumb animal's hp.

Yelb has that whole map fractional and warrior has that sword blitz.

Take the long grind. Cover skill is a major pain in the butt to grind. Pet tanks, pet take damage. You tank, pet takes damage. That is the foundation of the cover skill. It is the barrier for the survivability of the owner. Find a target that you can kill fast while you pump vit to your pet as it level up(focus more to get more vit than skill grind first. Your pet need to/will have to take the hit everytime) pet heal is a must tho since cover skill will make your pet basically a big damage magnet and sponge.
If you are building an attack pet then this is better off being disabled since as stated above this is more of a tank skill for pets.

 

Tbh, I need the skill going forward as a solo player so I'm gonna have to make some build adjustments for a healing skill then t_t...

Or I need that absorb HP vampire pet skill.

Just go to mini boss then. Usually I go to outerwolf>violacoon>dy>lapin>bg>odel

 

You just gotta kill those bosses faster and avoid getting hit as much as possible. ^_^

 

Take it from me, unless you go high attack%, and have crappy balance of attack and defence for pets pets could never last in long fights. High damage is good and all but pet survivability is the key to everything.(you are trying to keep your own a$s safe by keeping your pet alive at all times) a dead pet have flat wait time, while if you die pet can revive you asap(your pet need to tank and revive you at the same time for this) thus, the main suggested build is always defence.(yah that is suzukiP saying at my face to "work your ass off and support is dead")

If you join a party at masked warrior usually boss runs are really fast. There's other people leveling pets there too that you can join.
Masks only dangerous dmg is that rushing linear charge aoe and then the multi auto attack after it.
If you have flinch or something to stop it then you and your pet can survive I'm sure. If you use dw you can simply use spinning slash and knock it back.
Also steady nature is probably the best nature when it comes to avoiding boss aoes, the only thing it doesn't avoid is bullet and blade attacks.
So on masked it should avoid all his aoe's so it's probably that mutli auto attack I mentioned before that's getting it killed so if you can disrupt that then your pet should stay alive.

Also if you go to level pet at cerb after masked he does that multi attack thingy as well when he's low hp and white, you can also use knock back to cancel it as long as you have agro.
