Lvling to 150 without lvl 4 skills

Well, I've been thinking...
What class can somewhat manage without lvl 4 skills when lvling to 150.

Or something like that yeah.

 

Archer, with only Snipe the damage would still be decent. Also won't need to reset when you get lv4, Snipe is still pretty useful paired with CF.
2h I guess..? With Astute, Trigger Slash, and Tempest being able to deal decent damage.
Not really sure about the others.. Katana and halb needs some equipments to be somewhat decent with only lv3.

In my opinion, for new players the best class to lvl up to 150 or more using just npc or low budget equipments is halberd, using the efficient farming skill called "dive impact". Mobs in the latest main quest are now around lvl 160~, allowing you to easily level up by strategically farming them in enclosed and high spawn rate areas, while at the same time being able to sell their mats and earn good spina.

I once guided a newbie around a month earlier in playing toram, I recommended him to get a luk halberd first, both to reach lvl 150 easily just by farming mobs and also to earn good spina. When ant bee just got released and its accompanying tasty honey drop which enabled us to reach 4 lock easier, tasty honey immediately became high in demand, and he managed to reach lvl 160~ overnight just farming ant bees along with other luk farmers, as well as earning 13 million spina just after a few days of farming..........There will be more of these kinds of new recipes in the future, and their demand will also be similarly high, therefore being able to farm high level mobs efficiently will be a very good investment, and luk halberd using dive impact is the cheapest and one of the most efficient farmers that even a newbie can afford

Just to chime in and add on on the topic, for class wise, if you prefer leveling via player level to bosses/mobs level, it will be Katana, imo the versatile in most situations in combat solo-ing/in party.

However, there are now alternatives in Toram where leveling side quests such as Free From Infesters! (Requires a Lv89 toon to accept the quest) from Researcher's Spirit NPC at Garden Of Beginning. It pays out 15mil EXP total (stackable quest : Killing 2k Controlled Fighters & 2k Controlled Fighters).
But this requires you to have an AOE farmer if you want to be efficient; Halberd using Dive Impact is strongly recommended.
Which is why Aria's suggestion above on leveling is also a good method.
Getting a farmer toon to help you grind for EXP for your other characters (which can't crowd control) would be the wiser choice.

It all depends on you, plenty of options to take.

Back then, there wasn't that 15mil quest as I've mentioned, so I had to level my Katana the hard way

 

that exer guy is the master of katana, he always go YOLO mode with his katana, maybe u can ask him for a better
