Magic up increases matk a little per lvl.
Concentration gives a chance at doing additional dmg with skills.

I was wondering how u got so many skill points then i checked and saw i have 75. Heh, didn't really pay attention to that.

I'm curious, what about magic javelin and lance? Don't see many mages using those.

Javelin is a high dmg single target skill, capable of doing dmg equivalent to blast.
Lance is okay, but it overlaps Arrow, so I find it useless.

Hm, i see. Mind if i ask another question?

A few mage skill effects change depending on the element of your weapon, what are some effects, like for javelin and lance?

First of all they add status ailments, I've not play tested most of them. What I've so far is that Fire adds a burn effect that damages over timeWater slows/semi-binds the target.

Element also seems to change the skill name that appears on the screen during the skill activation.
    (E.g. Blast-Dark blast, Wall-Aqua Screen)

I see, thx for the info. I also noticed that a dark element wall seems to hit more mobs then the fire wall, makes farming easier.

They are made to help others. And if your in a boss battle every little mp counts. Easy to dodge and if two mages overlap that the effects are probably greater.

I think ur just using irogeon which is dark element but magic device,s hit faster and have a bigger aoe radius but slower cast time and lower dps. While a staff has better cast time and bigger dps on single target skills.

The same place where you get all your skills at. Btw dont get battle skills. They suck for mage so much ur better off getting a blacksmith skill tree or something like seriously. Dont make the biggest mistake in ur life and get battle skills. They add like 13 matk. Im serious. Not joking.

13 matk for maxed Magic Up or for lvl 1 Magic Up? The former is a little doubtful... I know you're kidding about getting BS tree over Battle Skills tree on a (dmg oriented) mage but the exaggeration there is kinda unnecessary. That's rude to Wyrix who chose to experiment with that build.

Im not kidding? The maxed battle dmg skill for mages gives like 7-13 matk on the maxed skill and getting a blacksmith tree shouldnt be a problem because when level cap becomes really high like 70+ u will have alot of leftover skill points. Im just giving you a good advice. You should read what i say properly then talk back at me. Your obviously a newbie who doesnt know anything about the mage class and im a expert at using a mage i have my own fu**** guide about the mage class ffs. Oh and getting battle skill tree is more usefull for physicall damaging classes. Especially for those who specialize in crit,s.

If I recall correctly, the battle tree magic up skill depends on the users level. Investing in that skill may prove to be useful if the magic attack bonus rises as you level your character higher and higher. Although, I could be wrong and it's locked on the magic attack it initially gives you. However, I'm still investing either way as I plan on gaining any bit of extra magic attack I can get my hands on. :)
