magic blade 1h+md

hi all, i need referece build magic blade. i mean 1h+magic skill like us magic strom, bursh or finale. im very confused how to combine stas and equipment to get best dmg this build. so maybe u have it please tell me what is stats, equipment, and skill. thanks for reply

 

My personal build:
-stat: full dex rest str
-skill: finale/meteor as dps
-equip: atk/cdmg/crate on weapon (mozto) and armor, potum helmet (york) and dex talis IV (lalvada)

can change playstyle depending on party/boss but its damage low compared to 2hs/staff user. fun to play but dont expect to get attacker rank.

 

so ur build focus on phycical atk? how many max dmg u at don yeti?

 

physical (meteor) and magical (finale) at the same time. I dont know how much damage at don yeti (never test it), already lvl 175 with 1,9k atk and 1,1k matk without any buff/food.

 

oh ok i see, i try to my best. maybe not OP dmg but i want to realize it.

 

I was thinking about a 'genuine' magic blader too (but cant try it out until i cap my other main builds).

The new clarity rose drop (non-proto) is +12% matk. Full INT rest DEX would gives you optimal matk from stats. Gear would be focussing on balanced atk/matk% such as mozt arm, yashiro mom mask, guig xtals), and completely ignoring +crit. On paper, and assuming you max magic blader passives and putting all my best available gears into it, i can get over 2.1k matk (and a little under 1.5k atk).

Havent thought too much about playing this build yet but burst would be safer to use than finale (if instant cast). Could also use buster blade too for 100% crit physical skill.

But at the end of the day, the damage here wont compare to staff+finale though

 

yes, magic swordsman can use physical/magical dps, but it will always lose to pure 2hs/staff user. but its fun to play anyway.

 

Explored this idea before with tonfa instead of 1h (high base attack, although only half of it goes to matk), and because matk growth on knuckles (1 INT = 4matk). Knuckles lacks a t4 100% crit skill for physical DPS, but 1h has access to Buster Blade (and trigger too for excellent speedup+proration) so it 'could' be better.

That 12% matk stat on this event weapon though... keeps piquing my interest haha~

 

Does maximizer work on MD sub? If so you can spam quadruple DPS combo with buster, storm, meteor and tempest and then just recharge

My 1h+md is 200str,200dex. I still haven't capped yet.
Main damage is buster blade so i do not have to worry about crit gears.
Other gears at +atk&matk, yashiro mom and mozt armor (boss)
Use maximizer and resonance for mp.
I was originally planning on using twin eagles as main but ended up with 1hs
