Thats why the first part was about Wind Release. You actually only need a book and scroll. Crafting an npc md costs like 20k spina for mats, refining to +C is maybe 50k
Then get a cspd equip for 10k (if your md of choice doesnt have cspd already)
And youre good to go.
Scrolls can be 50-100k depending on your luck at cb
Ideally pick a fire ele npc md, so you can 1hit ivy, and you can use that md on other mobs too, even on water it hits 20-30k.
Can farm ivy even with lvl80...

 

are ninja skills dual-elemental? otherwise natural weapon element has no effect.
and the element system only has weaknesses, no resistances, so a fire weapon doesn't have a natural disadvantage against water monsters.

 

I think scrolls dont have elements like metal scroll (just names) but didn't actually test, only noticed damage changing when swapped md for other element. So I think it's weapon dependant.

 

with or without "damage to element +%" stat?
shurriken and kunai use the main weapon element, but the release skills have their own element. water vortex should be water elemental. if it still benefits from the main weapon element, then those skills are probably dual-elemental like shot skills.

i know its too late to reply here but entire ninja skill is weapon element dependant (you can see the element chant change depend in your main weapon element)

so the naming element from ninja skill is actually fake news (dont believe from element names of ninja skill)
