Magic wall vs Storm

Between those 2 which one do you like more? Before i never bother with MW but now i kinda like it...

 

I will assume you are new.....wall is not usefull.........storm by far best thing, your wall doesnt even work on 99.999% of boss (not mini bosses)

oh im talking about when farming but yeah storm does has higher dmg at same lvl...

 

When you are farming Storm is better. Level 10 by miles
FInale was good but it got nerfed.......rip farming with it,,,,

 

With Finale got nerfed, Wall became useless for luk mage. I seriously hate that update.
Go storm all the way is what I can suggest you.

 

for non-moving targets (eerie crystal, demon gate, venena) wall is better than storm.

 

Why not stack them both? Also storm's total multiplier is 23 and a total of 480 skill constant for staff and wall has a total multiplier of 15 and a total of 220 skill constant. I'd say the total damage per cast of storm is still better than magic wall. But mp cost to damage wise wall is better. They both have same restriction being that they are canceled upon re-cast. So you need to wait until the end of duration to inflict all the damage.

What's your purpose of comparing them again? If you're intending to mob farm with it using storm solely is better, as it has higher damage per hit so you have less leftover HP on the mobs.

If you want to create something for boss battles aside from finale, they both are very good alternatives. Especially with the curious dress you can maximize your damage for up to 191%. for those skills with elemental advantage, weaken and magic crit. These lower tier magic skills are considerably more versatile survivability-wise compared to finale's locked state upon casting

 

Would be fun watching mob being knocked back by mw then got succ in by storm

 

Personally I stack Wall, storm, and about 500% Additional magic attack. It's not bad.

using MD. i get about 10k ticks of wall, 15k ticks of storm and about 20k for additional dmg. 45k ticks arent bad

 

I use md wall to gather more mobs to kill with either storm or finale. ^_^

 

for solo farming and gathering mobs as stated above MW can protect you a little while you are charging for storm or finale

 

How are you getting ticks that high? My luck mage is 142 and with my lil empress +d md I'm only seeing 2-3k ticks. I also didnt realize additional magic could proc on storm or wall ticks. That makes me want to adjust a lot of equipment.

Yes I know my md should be refined higher but even with my stupid full tech bs I cant seem to get it to +b

 

well im not luk first of all so pure int dex. my refine is B oj my lilnempress. and basically while wall and storm are ticking im autonattacking using additional magic gear

 

If you're farming mats...then use both wall and storm, and you can cover a larger area.

If you're just focusing of damage, then you can just ignore the middle branch. I don't know why they designed magic to be so redundant.

 

Do you build for drop rate on gear or im7i14 on weapon and armor? Just feel my damage is very low.
