Meikyo + Strike Stab .... Is it worth it ?

I've been thinking for a while on making it but I don't know how much Crt Reduction does strike stab have and how much Meikyo boosts , from what I learned Meikyo gives -5% cdmg on lvl10 (Which I dont mind) , Im asking you guys in case I might make a mistake on it.

Additional Note : I dont need Magic:Impact if I do this right ?

-25% for halbs last time I checked, so +40 crit could be useful.

Pairing it up will help you, the reduction on cdmg is neglegable, just remember that youll have to use it before SS so you cant impact. Youll still need crit rate equips however, so meikyo wont completely alleviate that

 

It's -50% for Halberds at level 10 (and hear me out on how sneaky the devs are: it's -5% per level; yes, your crit rate with this skill DECREASES as you level it).

 

lolwut... I thought -50% was for 1h.

 

It's even worse for 1H. On top of that penalty for base crit rate, they halve it. So, for level 1 you have (100 - 5)/2 = 47.5%.
For level 10 you have (100 - 50)/2 = 25%.

 

Meaning I dont need Impact , yay xD

Crying r n , 50% reduction without xtals meaning
Weapon +14 and +14% crit rate
Armor +14 and +14% crit rate
Additional gear +15 crit rate
Critical Spear lvl10 +?
Critical UP lvl10 +?

No; only base crit is reduced by 50%, and it's different from a Crit Rate -50% stat: it is multiplicative with Crit Rate% stats, meaning you will need a total of Crit Rate+100% to counteract the penalty. For 1H, it's even worse, as you would need a total of +300% instead.
Thanfully, we don't have to go through that tedious process because flat Crit Rate stats are unaffected, and we can have more enough of those to compensate the loss.

I think it calculates like this iirc from mayam post.
(25+(25*(0.14+0.14))/2) + (14+14+15+5+5+40) = 109 crit rate

i think u can minimize the crt.
use armor only full crit, additional gothic + proto, critical spear & up.
(25+(25X0.14)/2)+(14+15+8+5+5)=61+40=101

u can use more dmg increase stat on weapon.

why are you guys using meikyo? Base on description it cancels out the bonuses once you use a skill. For what I understand, it does not give any bonus to skills and only to normal attacks? I'm confused.

 

Meikyo at lvl10 Gives +40 Critical Rate and -5% Critical Damage to the next skill or if u use Meikyo as closer auto attacks will get the buff till it runs out, you use a skill or DIE .-. and some of us use it because we wanted Strike stab to Crit even if there's a bit of sacrifice on it , and you dont really need Magic Impact if you're gonna use just Strike Stab and Meikyo. Besides , with Strike Stab only cost 2mp , making a 1mp combo is easy without Impact , other Dps like Triple Kick , Snipe , Tempest Etc. uses minimum of 3mp and maximum of 5mp (Hasso Happa).

Everybody should know about the beauty of Meikyo Strike Stab xD , with Astute and Meikyo , Strike Stab on 1h always crit ! (with the right gears of course)
