I need help on making a support pet which gives me the encourage and critical up buff. Any weapon type , physical def and sly nature. I learned encourage and critical up can't be learned on the same pet while acquiring skills ( for the first time) .
    Am I even talking correct?
Okay so can anybody tell me what are things i must do to get a good support pet.
You can tell me about the things required for that in steps. I'll make sure to achieve it all :)

when fusing pets, you can only inherit 1 skill from each pet.
so any pet with multiple lv10 skills will have discard most of them at each fusion.

since Encourage can be learned at 100% success rate, you should aim for Critical Up as inheritance skill.
if you don't get it at lv5 on the first pet, but type/nature is good, keep it and try again on the next pet.
    (inherited skills cannot levelup)

So if I get critical up lvl 3 from inheritance then it'll forever be lvl 3? And can't be leveled up to 10?

Yes but it can be "replaced" specially if you really love that pet app and you spent loads of money to dye it. Best try your luck on new high level pets when you roll for the skill. You be letting go a lot of fodder if your luck royally suck. Best to kick in an ocd and keep your pedigree as pure as possible whenever you edit sumthing in there.

Naah pets apps doesn't really matter to me. I just need a lvl 10 encourage and critical up support pet . So what must I do to get that?
First get a pet with encourage then lvl up skill to lvl 10
Then catch another pet and learn crit up and lvl up to 10 . Then fuse them both?
    Is that correct?

    yes.

but on the next fusion, you can only inherit 1 skill, which should be Critical Up, so you need to prepare more pets with Encourage lv10 if you always want it to be lv10.
not immeadiately but eventually, you will want to raise it's level.

    Ahh I see...
I have like 3 pets with encourage.
So all I need to do is catch a pet and learn critical up there. Correct?

Yup, crank that crit up to cap before fusing. Choose one of encourage pet fodder and fuse them. Your pet will now have crit up & encourage on your pet right off the bat and you can freely choose first aid as your fused pet first skill. If you wanna update/upgrade your pet's level just prepare a fodder pet that have encourage and just repeat the process (just make sure that crit up is inherited since it is the legacy skill afterall)

Nice, btw yours is an easy build since only crit up is the only hard skill to get(best not to lose this legacy skill) the other 2 are 100% selectable. Best to beef up your pet to vit since buff skills don't rely on matk anyway(ask around for a pet app that is a good buffer) only heal and party heal rely on matk as far as pet support skills go. Your pet have to tank a bit while trying to revive you(plus, you don't want it ded when hit by random aoe so you better pump vit as much as possible) int is preferred 2nd stat when you cannot pump vit anymore due to mag resist it gives.

Higher pet lvl is always better, trust me. Making a pet climb levels suck unless you are glutton for the grind. Cap the legacy, 2 inherited skill is preferablely capped too but lvl above 6 is good enuf for me lol(since you gonna lose this on the next fusion anyway)

No inherited skill stay to the level it is inherited upon. Meaning if you give lvl10 crit up it will get lvl10 crit up. It also mean if you give it lvl5 crit up, it will stay at lvl5 crit up unless it is replaced.

skill boost shares skill profiency gained from casting skills with all enabled skills.
(active skills gain additional profiency when they are used. skill boost shares this exp with every skill, not just the one that was used.
    disabled skills won't gain exp.)

gentle can cast low-cost support skills at high frequency, combined with skill boost it can levelup skills much faster.

someone also said that skill boost requires less exp for higher skill levels, but i don't have sufficient data to confirm this.

If I want to keep having a pet with two LvL 10 skills (say, Encourage LvL10 and First Aid LvL10) every time I want to raise its cap, does that mean I have to keep raising another pet with LvL10 First Aid and capping it as well every time I fuse with my original pet?

Having 2 lvl 10 "inherited" skill is possible but fusions will always be a heartbreaking experience. The fact that you can only take one from each parent is taxing to do. At least this is the best way to have 3 lvl 10 skills of "your" choice since the other two will always be RNG based(good luck on that)
