Need some help (newbie)

I really want a dps sword and shield need some skill builds thanks

Well about dps sword and shield, I'm testing out my build... but well, try focus mainly on str (and get sword, shield, knight(optional) skill).
Well, for now, focus on leveling
tier 4 sword skills are strong enough to take out bosses in no time... like meteor break or meteor break.... Buster blade is good too but I don't think that is stronger than meteor
Knight skill gathers aggro for u
shield skill has buff and atk skills that stuns target

(I think it is a good thing to explore stats and skills to see how it fits and who knows that will come out as OP build...)

 

Thanks so much. I dobt know how to make combos, so it would be a big help if you can give me some sample or advice on how to make one. (i prefer short or low mp combo) thanks again.

 

Hmm there was a guide explaining save, consecutive, smite, tenacity, etc. but looks like that guide is gone...
I'll post again after recollecting the information (from memory tho...)

 

If I remember correctly,
Save
makes the skill use 0 mp and the skill after that will have its dmg decrease by 90%, 60%, 40%, 20% respectively (I'm not so sure about percentages)
also makes skills after save use 0mp but if total mp of skills after the saved skill does not match or exceed the saved skill's original mp, it will use doubled mp of saved skill
Consecutive
decreases mp usage depends on how far skill is from the start of the combo (after first opening, decrease 1 mp; 2 skills from opening, decrease 2 mp; etc. So if you use a skill that uses 3mp after 4 skills in combo, it will use 0 mp)
decreases dmg if there's consecutives after each other (decrease by 20% 40% 60% 80%... respectively)
Smite
Increases skill dmg by 50% and uses doubled mp of skill if there's no skill after this
Tenacity
No penalty but uses HP instead if you don't have enough mp
(the eye looking thing....sorry forgot its name)
Inflict status effect on enemy depends on element (I'm not sure tho)
Invincibility
This is never opened so I don't think you need any info for this..... it just makes u invincible during skill tho.... Asobimo locked this and never let us use it....

About Combo Tags:
Smite: increase dmg by 50% and lessens following skill by 50% if there is no following skill it will cost the double MP.
Swift: Makes Animation speed faster
Tenacity: Uses HP instead of MP if there is no MP left. The higher the Hp cost is the less dmg it will do.
Mind's Eye: Skill doesn't activate if the monster has a resistance against it's inflict.
Consecutive: Decreases Skill MP usage the further it in the combo is.
But it decreases the dmg too.
Expl. Opener>skill(cons) -100MP used, -10% dmg >skill(cons)-200MP used, -20% dmg> skill(cons) -300MP, -30%dmg>...
Save: The Skill "saves" (put on a bank) the MP it would use for the following skills. If the saved MP is not fully used up after the last skill in the combo, it will get used up if MP is left.
Save tag also decreases the dmg of the following skills.
Expl. Opener>400MP skill (save) (400MP on the bank), -80% dmg> 100MP skill (-100MP on bank->300MP left), -60% dmg>200MP skill (-200MP on bank->100MP left), -40%dmg>100MP skill (-100MP on bank->0MP left)
*this combo example would only use the Opener's MP

 

The eye prevents activating the skill if the ailment is already in the target

The eye is Mind's Eye iirc, either that or I'm thinking of Monster Hunter XD.

If you use Dual Wield's Phantom Slash (And don't cancel it), you get to experience the Invincibility tag. You take no damage whatsoever for the duration of the effect.
