Need some tips on farming and leveling up

Hi, im a returning player. Last time i played the lvl cap was only 120 and i think it was 1 or 2 years ago. So im currently overwhelmed with so many changes and i dont know what to do first. Anyone can give me advice on whats the best class should I play to farm fast for spinas and level up. Im a casual player since I have work and need to balance my time with playing. My current character is 105 mage type. Stat is int/luk build. Thanks in advance!

 

leveling is done by a combination of monster hunting and quests.
side quests such as "kill 50 orcs" are stackable up to 100 times now. the range of "appropriate level bonus" was doubled as well.
you get 20x exp at same level, normal exp at a difference of 10, degradation kicks in at 20.
the latest side quests are available in the Dark Realm.
below lv120, bosses are no longer the only option. above lv120 side quests are becoming ineffective.

regarding farming, nothing changed here. just that other options are now more accepted by the community.
since the summer event is on, farming Summer Shells is the most profitable. any water element mob above lv50 has a 100% drop rate.

 

You could try to catch up with the MQ first, something that can be done casually but still levels up your char. If you have decent 2H merc, doing easy bosses as a mage is not that hard. Even if it is Finstern[Easy] with a 20+ lv gap between you. Just storm your way through.

 

If you max luk first after completing MQ with your int luk mage you can make a lot of spina farming summer shells and selling them.
