yes, this new katana beats crystal lamina because -
    1) 100 crit , u can use high dmg equip without worrying for full crit
    2) 10% extra stab than lamina, this is great for player who haven't reached cap and are using str dex stat distribution
    3) 15% anticipate, this great for high evasion bosses but make sure to get mardula with it for best results
    4) negative dodge, this great for zantei users
    5) also the app is really cool

    But
    1. the base atk is 99 which is low compare too 106
    2. lamina has unsheath attack stats

And the app for Orion is pretty clean o3o

Another question is if I were to make 2s what xtal do u recommend @-@

100 crit alone makes it better than lamina, you can easily get unsheathe atk from gears without worrying for crit
for the 2s question, I think gwaimol mardula would be fine

Death samurai is not that flexible to use since it has fire element, you can't use that against Water ele enemies.
Modestia is quite similar, well it has AMPR and ASPD, but Orion will do better against neutral.
Lamina & Orion are even more similar, both have stonger against neutral, but Orion is still much better, because orion has 100 crit rate which is super good.

If you wanna compare Lamina & Orion its better to change the whole equipment, because Lamina equipment set will have some Crit rate, in the other side you can just go with All out atk with Orion as your weapon. Unsheathe atk 6% and higher base atk means nothing when you compare it that way.

Ah yeah its true, I just noticed that like 2 days ago. my bad XD
The damage output from orion & death samurai won't be much different, its more on element specialize, and also Death samurai has 4500 MaxHP which is really good if you're not playing with gsw.
