Hello! I'm a new player level 50 right now. I've read a lot of negative comments about brawler, I was just wondering if I should even bother leveling it anymore and switch to a mage or ranger or keep with it? I'm not looking to tank a lot I'd like to dps! Thanks SigynVS

I’ve been a brawler since 2015. The negative comments is what makes it fun to play with. Have a seperate mage and ranger character if you must. ^_^

Toram is classless MMORPG, so basically it’s you choose your own play style. The bad comment mostly is because knuc not suit to what they need.

Since you are new, without trying all tier of skill you may not understand whether is suitable for you or not. Try level up to LVL150 and get all tier of skill, then only decide whether to continue or give up.

It's a free world, you can do what you want. Besides, I may not be much of a Knuckle main user myself (Staff main, Knuckle sub Healer here), but I've partied with this one Knuckle user (Morning @Lenwok !) for a fair amount of time, and I've always been impressed...

Hai~, welcome to the game :p. Honestly, if you just started out, you wont likely be able to do much dps, until at least your 1st char reaches lvl 150 to unlock the tier4 weapon skills. DPS Brawlers are fun, but it may be a tough road ahead if this is the first one you take to 150. I always recommend 1st chars to be tank, because it stays useful (and is always popular) even if it does no damage. Once you reach 150 then make another char more specifically for DPS. ;)

Its an open game, so define your own journey to the top . If you want dps, try triple kick (t3 martial skill unlocked at lvl 70). It's a skill that should easily land a crit hit (crits can't miss), so you won't have to invest in crit gear so soon. Good luck and enjoy~! ;)

first things first... go thru mq and get to level 117 or whatever it is.

get shell break to 10 and tkick to 10 for now. this will lead to rush later when u get to 150

simple combo is opener . shellbreak save and tkick smite . ender consecutive .

simce youre new. your best gear choices will to be loading up crit and mp.

stats allocated to agi and vit and crit.

it’s an expensive class but it’s super fun to play and prove others wrong :D it’s going to be slightly hard to find parties but if you can, definitely don’t solo bosses x<150 unless you really have that kind of strength. it’ll take you forever. anyways, good luck! i was curious like you a year ago and haven’t given up yet! :)

at some point make sure to get magic: impact 7. below lv150, shell break, heavy smash and triple kick are gonna be your best friends. carry plenty of potions on you and try to pass 1k aspd for extra motion speed. when it gets to xtals, i think any of these (imitator, pomie chan, black knight of delusion-gwaimol, ganglef-tyrant machina) will help you increase your damage a lot. like any other weapon, aim for B+ refinement too.
-try to get some really good ampr (mana regen per attack) gear such as a machina ring with deniala&tapir on it. it’s around 2-3m but it’ll be really worth it when you have 400-500mp combos!
and don’t feel down if your attack doesn’t match your idol’s, chances are they have full 2s gear or master’s tonfas and that your damage is just fine!
