FIRST you need 255 tec and max skill point from blacksmith
Now
0-8 Damascus ore
8-E mithril w/ anti deg if
E-D orichalcum w/anti deg
D-C orichalcum w/anti deg
C-B orichalcum or hp ori w/anti deg or hp ori 200% refine ticket or more than 200%
B-A hp ori w/ suppermagichammer (note this refine is gamble) or u can use hp ori + 800% refine ticket or more than 800%
A-S hp ori w/ hyper magic hammer (note this refine is gamble) or u can use hp ori + 1000% refine ticket

0-8 hematite
0-9 damascus ore / HP Iron
9-E HP Dama / Mitril Ore / Mitril
starting 8-9 use anti degra
E-D Mitril / HP Mitril / Orihalcum
D-C orihalcum
C-B orichalcum or hp orihalcum

 

Hematite for +8? Shouldn't it be already HP Iron or Damascus?

If you use hematite make sure your a masochist cause that thing teases with your hopes and dreams...

 

at tec 255 and skill lvl full for refine, to +8 with hematite crack at 7, so its doable, to +9 crack at 9

 

Damascus are so easy to farm, I use them from 1-8(no anti)

Jk -- I'm happy all this information is finally being shared to the masses lol - I'm way to lazy to explain stuff lolz <33 -- I finally started producing A+ and S+ refinery (yaaaaaay T^T) - and I totally agree with the usage of hammers (SUPER/HYPER -- never ever ever ever ever plain old Magic Hammers OMG) -- Unless you spend money for those insurance tickets (which help out a TON) -- you just have to gamble it T>T. - Then again, the best things do come from risking everything --But so does crushing despair

I'm shadowing everyone so far, but this is how I refine: (I recommend obviously a Max Tech Smith with all the prerequisite skills for refining)

0-9 Damascus Ore (If you have hematite - 0-5 works just as well, and zero % risk of breaks)
-- I always start using Anti-degrade once I reach +8 (Saves myself the hassle, cause even with damascus ore, 8+ can be a griefer)
+E Mithril/HP Damascus
+D HP Mithril/Orihalcum
+C Orihalcum
+B Orihalcum/HP Ori
+A HP ORI - HYPER HAMMER - I skip Super Hammers cause I don't want to risk my equipments anymore than I have to lol --
+S HP ORI - Preferably a 1000% Insurance Ticket -- but if you are a serious risk taker, then by all means! Hyper Hammer that sucker into submission!! -- Most people are happy with A+ -- So I hardly recommend S+ - but then again, I'm not ur mom -- do whatever you want )

*I've always wondered if when attempting A/S refines - if Hematite has just as much a chance as HP Ori would- they would both show up on the scale at 10 - I wonder I wonder.... Anybody wanna experiment for the community ;P



*ps regular magic hammers are a joke lolz

First question first- what Refine Grade are you using the hammer on? What about ores?

 

I use oris and I have atleast 20% chance of doing a +C. Succeeded in doing a +B once using an ori, which I think was a fluke.

So I'm planning to use it on a +C or a +B equipment.
