New to game and halbred

Hey everyone,
New here and to game
Currently lvl 47
Halbred/dagger
Seems my dps is.....terrible....
Using cryatal lance, dragon armor...
My punish is hitting for 2k and my dagger strike for 300.....im always bottom dps

All my stat points are in str
Any help or build info woild be appreciated

Your main dps is strike stab which you will get at lv 70.
I assume you havent finish main quest yet, do it first.

 

i guess your attack stat is 397 or higher with this set-up.
punish ray has a multiplier of 2.5, so you could expect 993 damage. assuming maximum poration, that would make 2481.
of course you usually don't get this much, because monsters have defence and resistance.
but since my calculation was done without refinement, weapon mastery and minimal equipment, this can be ignored.
so 2k pretty normal for you.

Spike Dart hitting 6 times for 300 each?
i don't see any problems here either.

since you say you are bottom dps, who are you comparing to?
if it's the attacker rank, it counts the total damage during the entire battle, not the highest damage of a single attack

 

I don't have that much experience in this game but I would say Halberd is the worst weapon to choose as first character for new player.
Don't get me wrong, I love my Halberd much more than my Katana main. It's just the class rely too much on equips and doesn't shine as much as others with just casual equips.

Halberd drop stats aren't that amazing and as cheap as Einsamkeit is (compared to other class currently highest tier), 8k spinas is not something you got out of nowhere as a new player.

 

Who says you need eimsamkeit to do dmg? ._.
