New to Tec Smith~

I have all my stats into Tec, then rest in Dex
I'm wondering what the skill tree should look like, because I don't wanna mess anything up (lvl 110)
Also are there any tips with a Tec Smith?


Lastly, I wanna know if theres a guide to lvl prof to 100 fast and cheap.

How to raise alchemy prof and don't raise your bs prof at all at this time cause the pot value will be mediocre.

tl:dr alchemy prof guide> farm pova craft revita iii x99 four times for 0-50 prof, craft revita iv x99 three times for 50-80s prof, craft revita v x99 two times for 80s-100s prof. Do not craft revita v right away it's a waste of time and mats cause of set prof exp cap.

you confused barzeft with the part about raising proficiency levels, since Tec BS who refine and customize stats on equips DO NOT need to raise BLACKSMITH proficiency, but instead raise Alchemy Proficiency to be able to synthesize equipment. xDDD

 

Ahaha my bad lol, but im trying to make a TEC BS with no Alch Skills because I just want it as as a Tec BS

 

Well in that case just get blacksmith and sniper build skills as for prof leveling there is no cheap and fast way it will either be cheap and slow with lots of farming or expensive and fast.

p.s you can craft semi decent bowgun with that setup but everything else you craft until end game gear will have terrible potential is why I don't recommend doing what you're attempting but w/e

 

No, I'm mainly only using this character for stating so, I don't really need the skill tree for snipe.

 

Snipe was suggested so you can level through combat after 150 but for adding stats and refining you only need the skills from the bs screenshot in the thread I already linked plus the first anvil max for prof raise to 100 an to have your farming character learn process materials. Honestly unless you're crafting, going for 4/5 lock or using it for combat there was no reason to put stats in Dex.

 

Well, I was looking for tips on Tec BS and I don't unccesarily know what to do, and I've seen somewhere where Dex helps raises the prof and difficulty something like that, and that's why I put it in Dex.

 

It raises the item level for crafting and alchemy but does nothing for refining or adding stats also dex% does nothing for bs cause only flat dex on gear affects item level.

 

Well, if you can recommend what would I do after filling my TEC SPs, I was looking through Arm but then I'd have to create another char for VIT BS, also I wanna know what equips would you recommend for my TEC BS.

 

Dex Talisman III, Fighter Chignon Cap, Player crafted armor and weapon with Str 14 Dex 14 for gear if you plan to craft but if you aren't crafting you don't need any gear at all. For stat points since you already put it into Dex just keep adding to Dex and learn Sniper skills then get the common sniper gear or if you have a reset book to allocate stat points differently switch it to Int and make a Storm mage/Tec bs hybrid so you can farm the materials, process, stat and refine all with one character ^^

 

I got it now lol, I'm dumb a Tec BS has no equips, and I think im gonna invest on making a Luk Mage/Refiner instead, and If i wanna make equips I'll just buy some stat reset books, even thoughh that'd be really expensive.

Lastly, do you know what other skills i should max out besides Customize Equipment? this is for my Tec BS for just stating equips

 

Only need to max the two Customize Equipment skills and level character to max if you will only be adding stats. Max level is only necessary to add the end game +14 stats ^^

What you're also gonna have to keep in mind is that you need to keep this TecBS capped in order to put +/-14s.
