ninja skills are here

it's quiet. too quiet...
ninja skills are here and nobody's talking about it. why? is it because they are ninjas and we can't see their posts?

so...
ninja skills require a book to unlock them (for one character only). their location on the world map is still unknown, but since we didn't have any ninja-related stuff in the story so far, i guess it will be only available in the guild maze for the time being.

the livestream showed that a unique sub-weapon, the ninja scroll, is needed to use the skills.
ninja scrolls must be crafted by fusing 3 main weapons, and the weapon stats will affect the scroll stats and skills.

it's still unknown whether they are physical or magic attacks, but if they are physical again they will be automatically disappointing.

if you said the livestream keyword yesterday, you will get 1 ninja book today.
so there is 1 book per person, at most.
shame on the greedy people who will attempt to sell their copy for an unreasonable price, and glory to the selfless people who will use their copy for investigation and research.

 

I dunno why but I dont feel too enthusiastic about them.

Would rather they fixed the stat imbalances tbh. STR still god stat so if ninja skill don't use it, why bother?

 

i hope it's a magic attack, because using another physical is just boring.

 

update:

outside of maze floor 601+, the book is available in Hanami chapter 6. so we likely won't get a ninja village on the world map and ninja skills are now a seasonal event thing.

there is one basic active skill required to use skills from a crafted scroll.
the other skills are passives to enhance the power of scroll skills.

if the 1st skill is lv10, the Two-Handed skill will apply even when a ninja scroll is equipped. so katana user can be ninjas without loosing their power like they would when using daggers.

the skill description calls it "magic", but we'll have yet to see how magical it actually is...

Everyone ig trying it out for themselves. I came here to see what other people are saying about it but think I've arrived a little early

I did some weap sacrificing and seems like scroll stats are random. You can also only use one of each weapon type.

I ran out of sacrifices after those and then ran straight here :")

 

i wanna know if umarmed dps can use with ninja skills and is there any balance for ktn+ninja scroll

 

The scroll is equipped to your sub slot and can be used without a main weapon. Don't know about the rest ^-^"

 

Can equip with staff, MD, katana, barehand and OHS.

Ninja skills seem bugged. When I use them manually they are much slower than when I cast them from the random jutsu skill. Almost as if motion speed doesn't apply to the manual cast.

 

how did peeps get high attack on the scroll while i still got like 35 atk??

 

Kunai+water makes an aoe area similar to magic:wall
reactiving clone teleports you to its position

 

Two-Handed will take effect if the ninja skill is lv10.
no mentioning of barehanded, so for now we should assume that it is not supported.

Assuming you mean 'without using book can we use ninja scrolls' l would guess no?
The book is there for a reason :l
Unless we 'read' book, we cant really 'understand how to use em', so scrolls should be useless in that case.

 

Indeed it is, l suspect that is half the reason we dont see much 'hype'.
Book isnt much convenient either >.>)
