passive activation..?

I have been re-reading Mayam senpai's thread "tome of defense" where he states that either dodge or evade activates during a boss's attack. That rng will not racalculate and run the odds for both activating.
My question is, does that apply to Parry and Guard too?
Lets say guard didn't get triggered would parry be ignored?

I think the sequence of defense goes by this ( correct me if im wrong), dodge (flee) > evasion > guard >parry.
If the first of the sequence doesnt proc others will have a chance to proc depending on ur % stats on those.

Example: If ur 200 flee doesnt activate dodge, ur 30% evasion has a chance to activate, and if still nothing activates and u have 0% guard or parry. Then ull take the dmg, (dmg reduction buffs/skills/block will apply after those 4 defensive stats).

So yeah, if guard is ignored (or not proc) ur parry will have a chance whether to activate or not depending on the rate of it in ur char stats

 

Hmm if their rng was tested to trigger in sequence that'll be great.. I was wondering because with stargems in theory I could have the armor heavy/lite skills, parry, and guard skills on 1 character.

 

well that's what i noticed on dw at least (used to use evasion, or parry build, the knight passive) along with my high flee and evasion. Only thing i noticed is I f uped my dps potential by going defensive by all cost (little did i know matk will murder me x.x) But, I think that's how the order goes :3

I heard anticipate is also added but idk where it fits at least.

 

I thought anticipate applied to player attacks when boss tries to dodge? I could be mistaken tho..

 

I still don't know how it works (since party glasses has it, imitator as well and i use both). It procs and somehow it disables boss next atk motion... Still idk wut it does ._.

Yeah I thought that it acted like guardbreak in activation sequence. No self stabbing please.. I'm not a fan of cleaning..

but does anyone know if sanctuary also goes in last in the def sequence? like parry?

 

When mayam raged quit and few off, all the threads made by him is gone as well.
Even if you have all the infinity stones, the time machine and even with the rat included, them lost threads wont be comming back. At least you can still ask mayam about it but, never here.

 

the tome is a lost artifact now, altho if its about sanctuary, its dmg reduction should apply last as it requires the condition of 10% dmg recieved lower than total Max Hp for it to work to begin with
