Do inherited skills level up like normal skills do?

 

Nope, inherited skills cannot be levelled any more

 

So there is no choice but to max them before fusing. Dang

 

Yeah, sadly. Yesterday I sent them a feedback abt it, idk if they will consider it or treat my suggestions seriously

 

Nah, best not to change it. Imagine if all inherited skills always start at level1? I mean all that grind, all that cost, and the newly fused pet will have skills with only lvl5 tops!? Pet fusion will cause more harm than good.

 

How do you grind your per skills? I mean through normal, mini boss or boss? My pet's Rage blow takes a long time since it eats up 800 mp.

 

my guess is, unless pet is gentle it only depend on the cost of the skill and how fast the mp bar of your pet gets filled, so if pet doenst have high aspd and ampr either spam pet mpcharge or use mana aura skill from support tree, or do both idk

 

Do normal mobs.
1 target, 1kill it is the same if u kill normal, miniboss or boss monsters.
Attack skills have added points when used by pets. If pet do aoe damage it is much better.

So pet skills gain xp whenever they kill a mob regardless if the pet used skill or not? Then it gains more xp if skill is used. Cmiiw

 

So i normally kill povas with my pet to level its skills. Assuming pet is strong enough to kill pova itself, you just need to target the mob (and move immediately so you don't physically attack the mob) and let the pet land the normal atk/kill to get the pet skill exp.

I use a low level char (between lvl 22 and 42) and use this method to kill 180 povas every morning. Currently the pet i'm working on is gaining around 12-15% pet skill experience by the time i get my 3rd daily emblem. Since its super boring to do this continually, I only do a little each day (chipping away at it steadily) and then focus on a different higher priority (like pet lvl grinding lol). I also benefit from around 5-15 flower nectars each time which is a nice item to be steadily stocking up on the side

My example 15% skill exp in 180 pova kills is with a lvl 147/147 pet this morning.

 

Level gap is not applied, kill count is what matter in pet skill exp.

 

better prepare yourself when pet skill at 9>10, it take me 8hour killing those povas to reach lvl 10
