Hello Again ! Can any tamers share their knowledge on which pets have the fastest attack patterns ?. I heard that fast attack patterns are best for tank pets for holding the aggro.

If I remember correctly, @Xiavu has done a lot of testing with tank pets. It should be noted that pet attack patterns only have to do with animations though. The aspd of the pet determines the cooldowns between auto attacks, and as it increases, cooldown between skills also decreases.

@Alzarith is correct. There is 2 ways to make a tank pet out of based on my experience. The dps vampire tank(which i feature in my thread pets102) and the nature way(using devoted nature for 300aggro auto attack, yup just like a tank merc)

The dps vampire is more focused on mp usage of the pet to generate aggro. I only added hp absorb passive to increase the survivability of pet while dealing decent amount of damage. Preferably used by bow pet summoner since pet mp charge is more often casted than pet heal. And the cast reduction bonus of bows is fit for the job.

Using pet nature devoted is mostly for mages that spam finale and fond of -aggro gears. Aggro transfer is notably faster compared to the one stated above, but aggro generation for maintenance is rather weak specially if the pet misses it's normal attack quite often thus not generating enuf aggro to hold the boss. It is a bit of a low maintenance pet that you need to heal often. The reduction of cast time in pet heal is only sub-par to bows(bows heals pets better too) but sufficient enuf for most basic finale casters like tec-alchemist hybrid. Currently this type of tank in on my table and in the middle of testing its possible compatabilities. Info i stated above is just my opinion on the said pet tank build based on my gameplay playstyle. Feel free to test out one and it may be diffrent to other pet apps.

all pets that appear as stray pets on your land have 200% and 300% patterns.
there aren't many with less than 200%.
Stone species have a 133% pattern wich is the shortest i know.

Perro's lowest skill animation (267%) is a hip bash, which seems to be pretty fast too. But I agree with @Red_Fox that stone has lowest skill % multiplier that I've seen so far too
