Pets

Are they any useful in battle? I noticed they got popular, but whenever i have someone in pt using a pet, i never see the pet attacks.
It only revives. Does it do anything else besides that?

Also, I'm a mage and I'd like to get a pet that can revive me too. Which is the best one?

 

The reason they got popular recently is because they were changed to not take up a party slot anymore. They aren't super effective, but they can help with proration and do some support if their survivability is good enough. They can also do some damage with skills, but not a lot. I think the main reason you would want a pet that uses attacking skills would be for them to generate aggro so you could use them as a tank while soloing (but you would need -100% aggro and the ability to support them since they aren't great as surviving by themselves).

Would you happen to know what kind of pet can revive me when i die?

 

If your pet is still alive and you taught it first aid skill. It will do its best to spam that skill on you.(it be funny if you dont feed it often and it got low affinity, it just stares at you.) If your pet don't have that skill, your pet dies and revives with you.

pet have buff skill like ASPD+, ATK+, HP+, CD+, they also can heal and revive.

 

My only problem about the party setup is i can no longer monitor my pet's hp when it is full of players. (I rather keep my pet alive than a random duchebag who dont know how to manage their aggro.) Hope they put that up tho.
