Phantom Slash comment & ideas

Highest i can managed with level 5 smited Charging Slash.


And.. about Godspeed i think it increased the damage of Spinning Slash and i'm not sure about this..it might increase Twin Slash too ? Highest i can dealt on smited Twin is around 16-18K on Forestia but when i used it as opener it got higher..

 

Mind sharing your combo? Or was it combos?

 

Cool Thx. I tried godspeed like twice i didnt see any difference. Yea twin is a good opener i remember hitting 15k @lvl40 against mochelo. I tried to make it 1mp combo but im not quite satisfied with its total dps.
Im using Twin>Astute>Trigger>Charging>Shadow Step all consec. for a 2mp bar combo.
If i plan for quick spam til death
Twin>Astute>Trigger>Impact all cons
2-1MP Combo.
Sometimes i use
Shadow Step>Astute>Trigger>Twn or Charging Slash>Impact all consec
2-1MP Combo

As of now there are good smited combo but the mana wil probably go 3-4mp bar which is not enough for you
to outdps diff class.

 

Which one ? I change my combo alot based on the situation..i don't have perma combo.

Okay... Do Phantom Slash deal Undheathe damage by Flash Blast?

 

For DW Combo I use
astute -> Shadow Step (Safe) -> Twin Slash (Smith) -> charging Slash (consec) -> trigger slash (consec)

Astute : great damage and increase critical all combo
Shadow step : re-positionng and enhance twin slash crit to 100%
twin Slash : DPS
Charging Slash : Safe yourself and run!!! Well to dodge from boss attack
Trigger Slash : i often cancel this skill, but if i need bonus ampr I often get near to the boss and attack 1 more time to gain ampr

Any thoughts on this?

 

So... Twin Slash deal morw damage at start of the combo? More than Smithed Twin Slash in mid combo?

Somehow my Twin Slash damage is sooo unstable, 1200-8200 in same combo idk why

 

Reason why i have it as an opener is to pull a 1mp combo coz of impact as closer. Twin is still better as smited.
True it is unstable unless your maximazing the dmge drop off.

 

Okay So how can you guys make Twin Slash damage 19k damage!? Is it because the mob has low defense? Or you reduce the physical resistance as low as possible?
What's ur usual twin slash on warmorger (to make it easier to compare -_-")
Ps : My level 73 Twin Slash 90% on warmorger is 4.6k avaragely

This time i devote myself to build shadow DW for sure > but i need information ._.

 

Elemental Weapons + Cdmge%+Cdmge + Smited Skill + Learn how Dmge Drop Off works to get a good amount of Damage.

 

After doing some test, here are some rough estimation of skills damage multiplier :

1. Phantom slash (dual sword) = 2,7x astute damage
2. Charging slash (dual sword + godspeed) = 2,3x astute damage
3. Charging slash (dual sword + godspeed + flash blast buff) = 2,5x astute damage
4. Spinning slash (dual sword) = 0,3x astute damage (initial hit) + 0,02 x astute damage x 12 (?) hit
5. Unsheathe attack (dual sword - no buff,no godspeed) = 0,3x astute damage
6. Twin slash (dual sword - non crit) = 1x astute damage
7. Twin slash (dual sword - crit) = 1,6x astute damage (based on astute crit damage)

Non dual sword skills, for comparison :
8. Triple kick (w/o knuckle) = 1,9x astute damage
9. Triple kick (1h + knuckle) = 2,9x astute damage
10. Tempest sword (1h + any) = 3,1x astute damage
11. Snipe (1h + arrow) = 4x astute damage

ex : If you can do 10k astute, your phantom slash should do 27k total damage, on the same mob, without proration involved. On combo, the damage ratio off course will be altered.

TLDR :
1. Anyone has tried full unsheathed dw build? Because charging slash seems very promising!
2. Phantom slash got the highest multiplier of all ds skill, almost as high as triple kick on 1h + Knuckle setup. Wondering whether astute -> shadow step (safe) -> phantom slash (smite) can compete with the standard sword fu combo?
3. Shadow step open up new possibilities... Astute -> Shadow Step (safe) -> Tempest (smite) anyone? XD

 

Full Unsheathe Build is easy to build since you just max godspeed and get an Unsheathe Bangle and max Flash Blast.
I tried it.
Charging Slash, with it's now buffed damage. Hits hard. 10k per slash on max and smited? but still very situational tbh. I use it most of the times when farming easy minibosses. but on some of the current bosses and tanky minibosses, being flashy with uncontrolled damage isn't really a good idea.

 

Phantom DPS wont stand a chance against Sword fu due to its long animation. sword fu would already casted twice their combo before your phantom Combo ends but for a DW tempest idk yet. i have fought someone on BBGOB lvl90 sword fu against my DW tempest lvl95 i could win some but majority wins goes to sword fu. Attack Rank was like 55% / 45% most likey my DW Tempest is close enough to Sword fu DPS. (or maybe that person is not yet geared)

 

Is this confirmed? Is the calculation include Unsheathe Beangle? i'm going to reset skill if confirmed.. With my last 10 orbs

Calculation is used with Astute damage as Base. And this is depending on what stats you build overall. @equites might habe built different than what you build yours. So when you reset, you might not see the same damage to what equites has posted

 

I use full dex for extra stability and max skill damage output.

Equipments used are elemental rapier, killer coat (boss version), warhelm + warmonger xtal, and dex talisman II. All on 100mp xtal. So i should have extra 2 cdmg from warmo xtal.

I didnt take 1h/archer/martial passive skill.

From my experience this damage ratio is quite consistent on all levels, even on my full str build. There are small difference, but not significant.

So if you wanna try a new build, you might wanna make a new char, level up to 30-40. Prioritise on active skills. Try out the combo, do mini boss / boss run. If you like it, max em, if not, just delete and build a new one. Dont waste your orb xD

 

Hi Guys, I just want to confirm, Is Phantom Slash classified as Short Range Damage or Long Range Damage? Im planning to use Yelb but it gives -10% long range damage so just wanna make sure if Phantom is long range or short range. thanks in advanced
