Phantom Slash "Freeze" Ailment (Asking)

DW has been popularized more lately because of Megiston weakness from Freeze ailment.
But i have a question; does Freeze ailment ever works as it intended to be?
Freeze ailment causes the sufferer to have slow motion speed (-50%). But i never see it actually working like that.
For example when fighting Roga, his motion speed is still normal even with Freeze ailment.
Could this be just a bug?

 

i asked asobimo about it but they just claim it was working fine, i feel that they completely misunderstood what i was asking them about

 

On bosses, all ailments's effects are halved. (However work normally on mini bosses and normal monsters) of course with that 25%, you couldn't see much change.

 

Sorry for being off topic, what are the elementail ailments available that a DW can exploit. I mean, with sensitive boss comes with more sensitive grinding parties. If mainhand is Fullcrit can element be taken on sub so we can just swap elemental sub on the go?

 

Element on sup will work.

 

If we can freeze them like how they freeze us, that'll be fair I guess but it will definitely break the game.

Freeze ailments from them on the other hand also has different intensifies and condition, like for example my you can move normally if the ailment came from certain mob or bosses, but motion speed would be really reduced if the boss was high level Zega or Baphomela.

25% is still a lot, there should be minor changes to the motion speed but nope, there isn't. i think it's bugged :/

Where did you get this information? I thought Freeze or any ailment basically, has a fixed amount of stat reduction

Boss motion speed doesn't seem to change. Might work differently on Bosses.

Only thing I can think of is it probably lengthens the interval between Boss attacks thereby "slowing" it down.

 

Btw, whats the difference of phantom slash between lvl1 and lvl10? Is there a bonuses when leveling this skill?
