Phantom Slash & Tempest DW DPS Build Guide by makOi Lvl120

Hi guys my IGN is makOi i just want to share the build that il be using on my DW.
After playing days of experimenting i found out whats best for me. Thanks to the new lvl3 skills. Phantom Slash & Tempest it somehow increase my DW DPS.

It can be to a lower level mob still you dont want to waste SP for a skill that doesnt do much dmge.

 

hello makoi, so it does not need more aspeed? because before the patch i already bought 2x sroar, gskel w/fcape and dex talisman w/ eerie

 

What about agi it makes secondary stronger. Also if you get bd sword you just keep on hitting and don't have to wait.

 

Warhelmet+GS is what im using i can easily get the aspd cap with mega speed pot. If you want to inc your dps war helmet is a good choice coz the higher weapon atk you have the more atk bonus you get from upgrades. Fcape+gs is also good saves you from using mega speed pot.

 

Agi only gives you +1 atk per point and secondary weapon stats doesnt apply to your stats.

Do you think we can add Heavy Armor Mastery with heavy remodeled armor to enhance guard rate/power to cover the gap during normal melee attack sequence? This can be added after the level cap is raised.

Dont get heavy arm mastery you cant get a decent guard rate with DW + dw doesnt have a guard power (which reduces incoming dmge) so its a waste of skill points.

 

Its more like a 1h dps. il post soon once i reach the cap.

 

Hello idol makOi. What is the max stat for aspd and cspd?

1.1k aspd is the cap for no delay/interval. Regarding cspd idk yet.

about the same as what i thought it would be, nice and simple

 

Its more like a 1h dps who uses twin sword imo. i still need to play more with the stat since @66 i could only have 500 total atk or maybe less.
Maybe with a +10 wep i could go 500+ total atk.

 

@makOi Is 75 STR & 113 DEX give sufficient Accuracy and Crit chance to land hits on bosses with higher evasion?

 

This weapon skills tree is a skill spamming tree. From what I have seen, the combo for farming seems to be Spinning Slash->Sonic Blade(Smite)->Reflex(consecutive). Then you normal attack all that's left. The attack MP recovery on this thing is so ridiculous.

 

About the 1H Sword skill tree.. does the sword mastery apply? i tried adding points to it but it didn't add any atk... and so is the sword technique does it really add more skill damage? pls confirm :/

 

As long as you have astute buff + crit on gears 80-90% it will hit.
