Pierce + Armor Break ailment

how pierce+armor break calculation work?

ex. enemy def/mdef is 1000
and you got 50% pierce + inflict armor break

A. 100% Ignore Def/Mdef
B. Seperate Calculation
-Armor Break 50% * Def/Mdef 1000 = 500
-Pierce 50% * Def/Mdef 500 = 250
(Armor Break * Def/Mdef)(Pierce)

if the Answer is A. how ignore calculation work if we got more than 50% pierce

ex. 70% pierce + Armor break (50%) = ignore def/mdef + (-20% enemy def/mdef)

 

It's calculated separately

 

A is correct. So you still need 100%p.p. even with armor break for full pierce.

I totally misread the original post. B is correct

 

Imo I find B more logical than A.
