Planning on being a statter

Hello guys, just wanna ask, does your stat have an effect on how high or success your statting will be? Or does stats rely on Tech and Lvl? For example:

Does Vit gives higher stat fill on armor? Or Str gives higher stat for weaps? Or is it all about Tech and your Lvl?

Hope someone can enlighten me. Thanks in advance

 

It's all about TEC stat and level, TEC stat determines the potential you got from adding negative stat and level determines the Top + stat you can add (+% stat not included). And the skills determines the success rate and the maximum amount of stat that can be added (currently 6).

 

So let me process it:
Level determines the +stat for example i am level 120 so i can only add +12cd am i right?

Should I go full Tec?

And what skills should i get on the BS skill tree to improve the chance of success in statting?

Put 10 skill points in Customize Equipment and Advanced Customization along with leveling the char to current cap an having 255 points in Tec stat for full statter experience until level 200 cap adds a new skill to the Customize branch of the Blacksmith skill tree.

 

I see. Thank you very much for the info. One last thing tho, how should I level my statter up? Was thinking of doing the MQ but it would have me only about around lvl 130. Any tips? TIA

 

Varies from player to player, you could go Vit secondary and make your statter a tank, Dex secondary and use crossfire or be a Katana user, might even be able to go Str secondary and use Halberd.
