[Poll] Chain Cast

I have a level 72 pure int mage as of now, and currently, I have chain cast level 1 because I dont know the stats for each upgrade. So a question for all pro mages
Should I max it or leave it at 1?

You should add the poll to put it at lvl 5 cause you don't know what skill could be after that on mage skill lvl4

 

I think we know what comes after it "power wave" no?

 

Chain cast cuts the next channeling time by half.

Back in the day when no one had Cspd, Chain Cast was used to shorten the channeling time for Blast from 4 sec down to 2 sec.

With 1k Cspd, Blast's channel time became 3 sec. Now Arrow > Blast is more viable, but the damage of 3T skill rendered that combo obsolete.

As is, unless you still use Arrow, otherwise, Chain Cast is not useful anymore.

If you don't use magic:arrows that much it won't be that helpful, but if you do use them frequently it can be quite useful being that you won't be immobilized for quite as long.

 

it reduces cast time by 5% per skill level.
it is activated by casting magic arrows (the most cost efficient spell in the game), and unlike impacts status effect it only works on magic attack skills. so you won't loose it when you use charge or any other skill.
no need to put it in a combo like impact.

it's most effective on blast, but it is also very helpful on every other magic. you can even use it on itself (magic arrows) for almost instant casting.

wow haha don't see many mages starting combos arrow now days- they be Impact storming all day

 

5% per skill level = half time at lv10

 

I still use it ^_^. havent resetted my mage since the day hes created.... ^_^

 

Sure maybe reduce 0'5 each 5 lvls cx
