Potential Question

Can a full str tech make a full potential staff? Or just make full potential 1H/2H sword only?

Refine and Potential which is more important?

 

Full potential staves can only be made from a smith with 250 int. And a full str smith only gives full pot to 2hs while ohs only receive half as much. The other half coming from dex. Str smith also gives pot to halb and bow.

As for which is more important it's hard to say. They're probably equally important. Pot for being able to stat and refine for raising atk/resistance. If I had to pick one I'd say potential. Better to have a high pot equip that can refine anytime than a high refined equip that might have too low pot for the stat you want :v

 

250 Str character will only be able to craft full pot 2H while 1H will only get +12 pot from the points in Str and Staff will get no bonus pot. Pot is more important for stat adding and refine is more important for Atk/MAtk/resist raising.

 

Str = OHS and Two Handed Sword,HB,Bow Full Pot
Int = staff Full pot
Dex = katana,knuckles Full Pot

Str/agi=halberd
Str/dex=bow, ohs
Dex=bg
Dex/agi=ktn
Agi=knux
Int=stf
Int/agi=md
Vit=arm

Weps with only one stat need only 10 to raise 1 potential. 10str is +1pot for 2h.
Weps with 2 need 20 to raise 1. 20str or 20dex is +1pot for ohs.

 

If 10 str + 10 Dex Is +1 pot for ohs ?

 

That I'm not sure xD want to assume it doesn't. If planning craft ohs, better to go 240dex rest str since gives better success%

What weapon Is Best ?

 

If going 240dex rest str, will be able craft max pot ohs, bow, and bg. As well as +12pot for ktn

 

Not quite but close, bg will be 1 pot less than max however the rest you have right.

A little confused on what are asking o.o if wanting a wep to take advantage of those stats, then any wep that has dex as main stat. Bg, bow, or ktn. And maybe ohs tho it benefits more from str.
Or if mean a wep to help with crafting then any wep with dex stats. 6dex=1diff :v
