PSA: World of Tanks

So I hate to turn this into a rant, but the goal is to make an informative post to many of the players who aren't in the know:
There are many tanks. Some with shields. Some without. If you see a 2h not dying and has a ton of things on them then take advantage of the situation and kill the mobs (not the proration mind you) instead of spewing 'U TRIKCED US' because there's no shield. Just take some time and learn the game or learn about what's what.

 

to be honest , ths as a tanker is not a new phenomena. In a few contrast ths tanker lacks a lot of things meaning they are not super effective unless you have a lot of spina and time to invest on the build. Well, being as tanker is more easy than being a dps * just my opinion, dont harm me. To be honest, when you are in a party better ask the common question for example, bow/mage, ask them if they use gsw and sneak, dw, ask them if they have decoy or not. Its a simple question but it will made the boss battle a lot easier since you know what skill they have.

 

There's so many pantsu-oh-head parties going out there that i'm running into cf and finale users who don't know what sneak does. What's worst is trying to type it all in on a cell phone. What takes the cake is that most don't know what the shield does but says tanks 'have to have it' it from that i've seen in the last few weeks. Honestly it's easier tanking as 2h when you know what mob does what plus you don't have to worry too much about dps as you'll be supplying that as well. Imagine doing salamander and ifrid with people whiffing and missing at every turn >_< no tank wants to spend 4mins or more fighting a mini boss.

 

Some game or novel call the shieldless tank as AIR TANK.

 

I don't know why but I thought this thread was gonna be a rant about bad tanks.

 

I hate that most of int assumes that everyone's an indo.

I'm getting all the aggro and remain stationary throughout the run, getting em hit w/ random aoes & other dodgable hits is beyond my control.

 

Those guys probably don't have tanks themselves, that or some crappy half assed Vit blacksmith tank. Any players that have decent tank knowledge knows what there is to tanking: Aggro holding, proration, positioning. If you have all those three aspects covered you are a tank

If mage dont have sneak, i usually let them die first, after that, take aggro >_<
well, i also sometimes, did mistake too for example, using protection on wrong boss, rampage bad timing (final blow), replying chat during boss battle.To be honest, you can solo ifrid nm or ult with Integridar +B (no xtal), tyrant mask (mp 250 xtal), fc +16 (mp 250), machina ring (york +salamander) with vit 50on your char. Your ths is almost good as tank and leecher as dps >_< . Some people build its for as personal build. Tanking using 2h meaning, theres high chance you will ruin the proration. Its easy to tank boss using bg tank and ohs tank. Knuckle tank is good when you want to farm something rare (materials to break parts).

 

To keep proration safe I leave the area or I use some weak magic occasionally to mix things up.

Kicking someone for not using a sword is really stupid. This reminds me of my bg before the wipe: people asked me why i was tanking with a bg now we see why theres a tank shortage. They probably out leveled these morons

 

I have a feeling the bs i have been seeing pales in comparison to the shenanigans in those screenshots

I thought this would be a rant to terrible tanks (like me). Ehhh, I thought there are a lot of tank players nowadys. Did they really declined?

 

Yes. Very much so...

 

Indo players are well-known as being a toxic at int server, they are stupid enough that don't know how to speak english and just rant all day, they can't differentiate using their own language at int and their own channel, it's not one but many so many, i've died once at doing mini boss raid then get instant kicked by them while being laughed and telled to delete my character, just why

 

Honestly i would like an classic rpg style of play when it comes to mini bosses. Some are rediculous like amoeba (easier to solo than in pt) and yes the stupid commentary kills me. I got kicked when applying as dps cause i dont have a shield. The current state of things is going full retarded.

 

They didn’t decline they capped lv and now only shows during events, no joke. Hoesntly tanking is broad I have a conventional tank and when free resets come I’ll turn my semi tank mage to a tank mage since m def is more appealing than ailment resist for me. 2 h can tank well but my problem with tanking is weak ppl spamming combos doing nothing more than generating aggro and ruining propriation, then getting hit by aoe and blaming me , seriously tanking is more difficult than it seems because you have to play in a way to make it super easy for nubs, meaning that u have to heal them, interrupt aoe skills for them( when they could just avoid it) clean up the mob aggro they attracted to themselves ( because all nubs watch you tube and spam magic impact indiscriminately) and lets not forget lots and lots of reviving because not only that they can’t do damage they can’t take one hit for nothing.
