Additional for Mage: Which is better? Devil hood or curled horns (npc made)?
Devil hood stats is MATK 5% Stability 7% Magic Pierce 6% Aggro 8%.
Curled Horns stats is MATK 4% Stability 8%.

LOL. I think I'm asking too much on torum forums nowadays. Forgive me xD
And uh, is this where I should ask these questions? Here in General Discussions not in the "Toram Online Player Feedback / Review"? Welp, either way sorry hahah!

Now that I'm it, I have more questions.
So I'm creating an arrow mage pewpew by you-know-who. In the "armor" part, do I need to be picky about the def? If yes, what armor gives the highest def right now in the game? And how much def is the highest you have seen so far? I'm a perfectionist lmao. I deleted my lvl 110 char once because I'm just too frustrated about the 10 stat pts I accidentaly put on a wrong stat *cough* agi on my alchemist *cough* *cough*.

    Another question.
By refining, what does that mean? I mean yea, from what I understand, example you have maybe a staff w/ 100 atk. Refining it means 100+how many u refine right?
What I don't get is, (let's go back to the armor for a sec,) if I don't need to be picky on the def, why would I still need to stat it +S? Quote in Egg's Gandalf Gay Shield, "High def isn't necessarily required" "Refine as high as possible"

Devil Hood is better. The 1% MATK gain is more substantial than that 1% Stability loss, plus you have some Magic Pierce, which is not that relevant considering how little it gives but still good.

Yep it's the right place. Player Feedback/Review section is basically where we talk about other players, but it's mostly used for scammer reports.

You don't really need a lot of DEF or MDEF. Once you get to 250 DEF/MDEF, getting more will be less useful since the damage reduction each point of DEF/MDEF gives from 251 onwards is quite low. Currently the player craftable armor with the highest DEF is Holy Robe, but it will be trounced by Mozt Armor on the next story update.

The thing is, that's not how it works.
For armors, additionals and shields specifically, each level of refine is a direct 1% reduction of damage. If you refine them all to +S, you would gain a 45% damage reduction on ALL DAMAGE TYPES, even FRACTIONALS! That's why refining is very important (but +S isn't mandatory on those).
For weapons, it's a another whole story, but again it doesn't exactly work as you expect it. If you're interested I can talk about it, but for now, I'll just link you this: http://toramonline.com/index.php?th...beefy-today-chickeny-guide-to-defences.22518/

I still don't think I quiet understand how refining works but I will check your shameless advertisement xD

Oh shi, what do you mean? By how you said that, I think I won't refine my armor and add anymore. My main is an all dps char so I might even buy a new one because I refined its gears ;_; Do you think what I'm planning to do is alright? Please enlighten me senpai. I don't get it.

u should refine ur armor. when someone hits u at like 100% dmg, u'll only take 55% (100-45) of it is what he means. (purely an example, too lazy to do complicated math)

You should refine your armor and additional. Even at +E on both, it's still a 20% reduction to all types of damage, and that's not counting DEF/MDEF and other damage reductions. Can't DPS if you have paper thin defenses and die, right?

I think the highest defense armor craftable is now Fortuita Vestibus (Tapir armor) unless I'm mistaken.
