Questions regarding blacksmithing

I am sure that u have a wrong idea about what a base atk/def is....

If u check the picture below↓
U will see that the base atk (mentioned near the bottom) of this sword is 94. And that will never ever change. It doesn't matter if u get "Black sword of Delusion" from boss drop, blacksmith shops or player made. The base atk of "Black sword of Delusion" will always be 94.
Now if u check the atk of my sword, u will see that the atk is 99 (base atk+5). This doesn't vary on any stat or personal stat that u have on ur character. ATK of an equipment is completely random.

Atk/def of equipment= base atk/def + (+n / 0 / -n)

Thanks a lot for the time and effort^^ Your advice helped me a lot and gave me a brief idea of how this blacksmithing works, but I am not going to create one now though, without enough knowledge about it. But still, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for putting in effort in replying to every single of my dumb questions.
