Rampage vs Tempest vs Strike Stab

Who's better in term of dmg with one handed, may u explain why ?

 

Strike stab > tempest > rampage
For full str 1h

If not full str
Tempest > strike stab > rampage

Rant Ghost: Strike stab, though it requires a full cri set and you need an alignment skill for full potential.

 

You could probably use both TS, and SS in a combo

Something like:
Hard Hit> Impact(save)> Tempest Sword(smite)> Javelin(save)> Strike Stab(smite)> Holy Fist(consecutive).
(costs 1mp)

 

So nothing good about rampage ?

 

What about Triple Kick? How it rank among these three choices?

 

Strike Stab is the top DPS skill right now. Whether Triple Kick or Sword Tempest is better on 1h-fu, I do not know since I do not play that. My instinct is Triple Kick is stronger for 1h-fu since I don't think those take Sword Tempest. But without knuckles, Triple Kick is on the bottom of the list. (Except for Rampage. Rampage is bad right now. It might be more damage, I'm not sure, but the risks and costs are horrible.)

 

damage reduction from save tag will stack

 

-80 on Impact, -60 on TS (-10 with smite), -120 on Javelin, -80 on SS (-30 with smite), -40 on holy fist (-90 with cons.); sounds decent to me, plus you could still swap Javelin and Impact's places, as well as TS and SS's places.

 

-40 from first save (impact) wont apply to javelin as it is already a save tag it will skip it and apply to strike stab directly do strike stab will get -100, -50 with smite.
Double save combos have the worst damage output they are made for tanking only not dps, you would have known if you had tried it out and compared with the regular smite combos.

 

You could also do:
Hard Hit> Guardian(Save)> TS or SS(smite)> TS or SS(smite)> Holy Fist(cons)

Yeah, the effects of Guardian would lower your ATK, but the 1mp combo would be worth it in my opinion.

 

I really think you should try your combos out....

 

I do try my combos, I've made some pretty good ones. I'm not the best with combos as you can see, but you've never seen all of them.

 

I dont wanna see them tbh... lol

If you didnt get what I was pointing out,
Smite gives +50% on the skill its tagged and -50% to skill next to it.
Means two smite tags in a row means second skill will get -40% this combo wont work either unless you add a skill between both the smites.

Rampage is good for 2h tank or semi on long boss fights where u need to dodge some sick boss aoe plus you can prorate for your team wich means higher damage for your dps members . Provoke > ramp > before 10x use astute + (any 1 mp ) + tslash/impact > final blow . You will need good amount of mp , ampr and aspd for this for better effect

 

Astute > War cry (save) > Quick aura (swift) > Impact (cons) > Tempest (Smite) > Assault Attack (cons) > Strike Stab (smite) > Trigger (cons)

u.u Can replace assault with trigger before strike and use Holy fist ender if you don't want assault, it's only for ailment. This combo is 130% Tempest, 150% strike Stab, 2mp.

@Komibii, your guardian combo is this one:
Hard Hit > Guardian(Save) > Tempest (smite) > Strike stab (smite) > Holy Fist(cons)
You do realize this combo is extremely slow with a massive damage reduction, and is 3mp right?


And your double save..lets just say double save never works for dps, the save stack is just too much.

 

Rant Ghost: Seems we all agree that rampage sucks.

There was a perfect way to make it awesome, but devs chose the dumb way.

 

I don't actually use these combos, I was just trying to give an example, but it appears that I'm no good at that. As far as the slow combo thing goes, I've seen a ton of people use slow combos (though I'm personally not a fan of them), without complaining about them, so I figured someone might give it a try (not the double save), plus the combo is only 1mp. I'm sorry that I didn't know that double saves were a bad idea, but at least I know now.

 

Rant Ghost: You can always use Astute > trigger save > impact cons > Strike smite > hh swift.

It's fast and short.
