Ranger Class Build

The nonsense of putting Might after Tenacity aside... The reason why is because your damage will fall like CRAZY when you use your HP to use a skill. At least from my experience. And using Tenacity means you've... Already wasted your MP. xD

And Yea, I run around with 3 bars only xD. Don't plan on addint any mp, till later on updates.

 

I use Moeba Shot>Power Shot (Consecutive)>Bullseye(Consecutive)>Arrow Rain(Consecutive) and I don't use more than 200 mp.

 

Yea but you need to cast Mp charge or kill mobs to regen Mp. I can cast my combo 2 times before waiting for MP refill with Tenacity. I don't pull too much aggro with the tank guy I play with, he knows his sht.
its ok xD, each to their own way of playing. I relay on my Hp to pull more dmg, thats all.

 

Update on total Skill points and Stat points.

Stat Points - 156 points
Skill Points - 84 Points as of today with most Emblems achieved.

 

I should have clarified. I only use Power Shot to cause a break if nobody else can. My primary is Bullseye (at level 30 I'm currently hitting for 700 x4, 900-1200 x4 with crits.) I would like my auto attack damage to be fairly high, but my main focus being ASPD for quick MP regen. Mino xtals are kind of unobtainable for me at this moment, so I went with ASPD xtals instead. As for the insta-cast thing, that was directed at Bullseye. I really like that skill. I don't need a huge mana pool to be able to cast that frequently as long as my MP per attack and ASPD are high enough to supplement my MP regen. Currently every 7 attacks means a new cast of Bullseye.

Basically I'm at 60 dex, 40 agi, and at level 40 I was planning on dumping the rest of the points I receive into crit.

I don't care about insta-cast because I plan to use Bullseye only during boss fights. Somebody else can interrupt and cause breaks (like those tanks I've been giving advice to).

To most this may seem like a boring build, but to me I have the potential to put out decent damage and also be able to focus on placement pretty seriously in order to avoid red stuff.

So now that I've clarified, do you still think this is a waste?

Honestly speaking, ASPD/CSPD/CRIT/DPS can't be on same build as of now, theres not enough points, not enough skill/stats to be able to proceed successfully with this build. Is just to devided. You can't your stats 60-40, or in this cas 75/75 or 80/70 whichever you wish to do. Your dmg will drop significantly. Sure you can attack faster, but whats the point of using a pew pew gun, if all its gonna do is shoot pew pew bullets.

Its not a boring build, its just different, but as I mention Honestly, its not an effective or efficient build. Maybe when lvl 100 comes out, we can do some testings, but for now.. nah.

Bullseye is not a great skill honestly, too much of a MP waste regardless of which CP skill you put on it. The amount of dmg you can pull from it, you can do it with 1 Moeba, and pull 4 Moebas and hit the 20k+ dmg.

Thats my most honest opinion on the build. Personally, I would scrap it, and not go with it, and not even think about it. Maybe later ingame, lvl 100 when you have max Dex, and can proide points to other stats, and your gear can carry +6 Xtals or some sht like that.

Interesting, currently working on a new Rg build myself. Currently running a Stone Bow (32+7) with Wind arrows and fire arrow, and a clean Hbg if I feel like adding a bit more dmg... I was gonna use crit modified asd gear with potential slot for cspd, You're suggesting Hunters Garb is the better option? Original plan of the build was to be a support bard like toon, but got bored faster than expected and decided to go pure dex for farming. Also why not dex ring with +300mp and run slotted C.earings? Easily profit on the combo setups without relying heavily on mp charge.

 

is forest wolf set, like fwg and fwb have a slot?

 

They all come with slots and the set is not complete yet, cape and hat still missing.

Interesting view on tenacity. Might want to test it myself. Does it use the same amount of hp as in mp needed for the skill? If yes, doesn't the damage will reduced a lot? Especially para shot which needs 300mp?

Btw my combo is
Moeba shot -> power shot (swift) -> bullseye(cons) -> para (cons)
200mp for all combo, and power shot with swift only needs 1 sec charge max. Damage about 8k-20k total combo.

 

Let me go ahead and explain my skill build.
Moeba Shot ---> Para Shot(Tenacity) uses 2 mp and only eats 100hp for the 300mp ---> Power Shot(Tenacity) by this time you should have around 20-30 mp, will only eat 70-80hp

This combo gives me around 18-28k now with my current build and I havent tested it with lvl 55 yet. So Be my guess and do the math xD

 

I see. That means have to adjust mp bars to fit the combo. Interesting really, haven't thought there's such a way for combo

 

Tried your combo, doesn't suit me lose dps a lot because power charge cast. And filling up 2 mp bars is lot faster than 3 bars. Would u mind trying my combo to compare?

I have tried your combo before, it drops my max dps by 4k dmg. Would have to try with new set which I am building, of all Volg Xtals, Im looking to see if new mobs drop +2 Dex Xtals. And make a set with all +2 Dex if it even drops.

 

Because your combo is really interesting, I've decided to clock it XD
I tried it against colon commander.
I'm lv 55 archer with 161 dex.

1. I tried with 3 mp bars.
- My combo killed colon commander in 44 secs.
- Your combo killed colon commander
In 34 secs ONLY if I spam every 1 mp bar refilled. (Tried every 2 and 3 bars 50 seconds or more)

2. I tried with 6 mp bars
- my combo killed colon com in 26 secs
- your combo killed colon com in 48 secs (as expected tenacity works well with less mp)

So it's really a matter of taste either mp based or hp based. And builds too.
Probably your cspd higher than mine, it could make a difference (my power shot charges for 3-4 secs without swift, 535 cspd)

Your combo really opened my eyes to tenacity! Never thought it would have any use lol.
