Okay, I've fiddled around with my settings and skills for a while now. Where do you change consecutive/tenacity/smite/swift and all that stuff? I can't seem to find it anywhere

I just want to know regarding Stability... Is this for stable dmge? And also when using bow is it ok to put some pts to str for stability?

Kime, I know your build only calls for 1 stat point in MP Charge, but I spec'd the full 10 and I gotta say I think it makes a world of a difference.

Skill based Rangers are thirsty as hell for mana, and with the full 10 points spec'd in MP Charge you go from 8sec for a charge to 5 for a full 300 MP. I did it as an experiment, but for you who uses only 3 MP bars for your Tenacity Combo this could work as a pretty mean trump card in a pinch. The only draw back is you would have to drop one of the Combat Skills in place of this, but considering those skills scale miserably atm you probably wouldn't miss it. Not to mention those 3 secs could mean life and death in some instances.

So yea, as an alternative I recommend speccing 10 pts in MP Charge. It's legit.

Yo, hmm btw, I have no Mp Charge xDDD. And with current lvl cap I could tap MP charge to lvl 10 without affecting my build. The thing is, I belive the next cap would be 65, so No changes into the skill build, so I am saving my skill points to not have the need to remake the char xD.

Also, yea I have tested it. But that 5 secs you are stationary, means you are dead from a Mage or Swordi perspective. On a PvP match, being stationary for us, means dead. Power Shot only lasts 0.76 at 912 CSPD, So You wont be worrying about staying stationary.

I don't plan on fight by myself, I will have a Support with me running around keeping that MP regen Aoe all the time, so I can just pour sht all over the place.

But Yea, apart from that, I feel you bro, It does make a difference on PvE, but right now I am respecing myself towards a more EVA/CSPD/Spike build.

 

Oh! Well in that case, no harm no foul. No sense in wasting points only to have to remake later. Just figured I'd throw that out there for anyone who might wanna keep up their Mana without using those crappy survival skils. I know it wouldn't really be functional for PvP for the reasons you stated, but as you said, for PvE/farming it's time saver, and Time is Money, baby. xD

Hi, I've played a lot of games but this is my first time to play this kind of game.
Most of the game I played when leveling up stats are distributed on their own.
I was with a lv29 swordsman last night and he does a lot of damage to forest wolf than I can.
Btw, im a lv38 hunter and this is what i have right now:
Accessory Slot - Hunter Cap (blacksmith)
Accessory Slot - Old Cloak (from gespent but dont have slots)
Ring Slot - Dex Ring (blacksmith)
Off Hand - Wind Feather Arrow (blacksmith)
Main Weapon - Forest Wolf Bow
Armor - Forest Wolf Garb (no slot)

Bow Skills:
Moeba Shot Lvl10
Power Shot Lvl10
Shot Mastery Lvl10
Long Range Lvl10
BullsEye Lvl8
Para Shot Lvl8

I rarely use para shot because of mp usage.
Well since a newbie
stats distro is a bit odd
I gave 5 for vit and int.
10 for agi and the rest is for dex.
I'm not satisfied with the dmg i can do that's why I'll try a mage for a change.

By placing points into VIT INT and AGI as a RANGER imo is POINTLESS at this very moment..

The job of a RANGER is to be the HITTER, you wanna get the most DPS as you possibly can..

Two useful options that come to mind...

PURE DEX: Placing all stats into DEX and BOWGUN would be the weapon of choice

~Or~

DEX + STR: Using a BOW to balance out the two stats, but I would still put more into DEX than STR considering DEX for a ranger supplys more DPS

I'm totally agree with kime in this case. Being stationary also means we're not attacking, hence less dps in boss fight. But if u like this style, i recommend using bowgun + magic device. It casts mp charge and power shot faster.

 

btw i was just wonderin how much damage your para shot (SMITE) can do? coz atm im enjoying my hunter Arrow rain crits 2.5-4.5k x4 so that's a total of 10-18k.

MP Boost 10 (i need mana for comboing so i could put volg xtal on my items)
Mana Recharge 1 (like i said its an experimental build atm ive been using this when farming bosses. i can recover 1 bar of my mana for every 10secs. also since your 10m's away from your target and have a proper tank this skill wont go off on you hahaha )
still have 7skill pts left im not sure if im getting the ATTACK UP skill tree.

also for those who dont know this yet.
MP Charge @max with Magic Device as your OFFhand the cast time is 3-3.7secs (this is very useful for spamming arrow rain specialy if your farming normal skels)

i found this two skill do the same damage the difference is number of hits and mana cost. (correct me if im wrong here)
atm when landed crit on forestial moeba@Lvl10 smite crits for 7.7k / bullseye @lvl5 Smite crits 1.5k x4 total of 6k

also i feel like im getting agro most of the time when i use my combos i feel like im wanting to get that sneak attack but im still not sure maybe the tank dont have provoke. so atm anyone here tried maxing the sneak attack if it will lessen its mana cost? coz 200 mana cost is a bit big for me. it will fck up my combo set. lol.

I wouldn't recomend adding anything else other than Dex, honestly xD.

You have a solid Combo, once again, my builds are specifically aimed towards PvP, which is the only field, rangers will exert them self, more than pve.
The Moeba vs Bullseye look at it, is more about the 2 different type of builds, Spiker or DPS, a spiker taps 1 hit for max dmg, while a dps builds up dmg on consecutive variable hits.
This means, 1 big cannon ball shooting and opening a huge hole, or a gatling gun hitting consecutively and building up dmg.
Also, only get Sneak if you going PvE build, for PvP this is useless, apart from the fact that the tanks you being going with all suk balls deeeeeeeepppp ballllsss.

This is for all of you Ranger/Gunner users.

Remember, Rangers hit from 10m+ range on normal hits depending on the bow. We benefit from the Long Range Skill.
While Gunners don't get a benefit out from this, they hit from 8m range, which is the main reason why your bowguns/guns have more dmg, to cover up for this fluke. But you also get rped from the fact you get less stability. BUUUTT you get to use shields or daggers xDD.

Both classes have its benefits and negatives sides. I am a Bowman from head to toe . I will shoot straight and get you all new piercings once pvp comes out.

I think ik now how hahaha cspd 5% on crafted items since we got 500+ cspd with full dex. + 100 cspd potion. Just guessing.

 

I don't use pots xD, they feel like drugs, only good for having testosterone pvp fights. Pots will only be useful on PvP not on PvE

 

Btw i dont have any idea how much dmge para shot can do. Can you share whats the highest dmge youve seen with para shot?
