clarify on what specific brawler type you want. Tonfa or Non-Tonfa brawler.

For Tonfa, just put crit xtals until you got 100+ Crit total (including food buff and Crit UP skill lvl 10)

For non Tonfa, get at least 100 crit first, then go for Pomie Chan and Mardula on weapon. Wandering Wheel on Additional gear (best used with short range build). Ornlarf on Armour especially if you don't use VIT stat. On ring, get Venena if you have not enough MP. Otherwise, go for AMPR xtals (Deniala, Titeres, or Tapir) and ATK xtals (Lalvada, Guignol, or York)

man there are so many different builds for knuckles.

besides weapon main, what sub are you using. what is the objective of your build? dps? semi tank? low aggro dps? ranged dps? tank? additional damage? pierce?

You mentioned wandering wheel, would it affect the damage of chariot?

Stay close, 7m and closer, and it won't affect anything. I am using it, and it works well with my Knuckles. The 75% ASPD is damn mesmerising

personally i prefer shield over daggers. since we are up close the 12% extra refine resist does more in higher level dungeond thsn evade or dagger skills. Arcane is nice for enders though no doubt. but pdef is amazing.

for brawlers your stats need to focus on agi for base dmg and since the other stats dont give huge returns, most people go str for the crit damage. personally i prefer using my stats or crit and vit and letting gear and xtas take care of MP some crit and Attack.

Weapons: if u go agi str gwaimol gives best dps returns. i put priority on mardula for thr ampr and anticipate. also higher base dmg. Ultimate machina xta is also one of my priorities. 400mp 4srd and 4% pierce. it is extremely underrated. i dont care for pomie chan. agi 5% gives small dmg and dodge is meh and thr aspd bonus is meh. absolute dodge is cool to have though.

final conclusion mardula and ultima for best balance on weps.

armor. priority on momfluck since we wanna get 2k mp to spam our attacks without long combo. cerberus is an underutilized xta as well.

additional. if u go agi vit handmade cookie is amazing. wandering wheel is grest here too. so is azuki mom xta for that juicy resist.

special. don yeti is a nice atk trade off. guignol is nice too. seele great.

Just keep in mind that your current understanding of the class will change over time and your play style is different from others so you will adjust. Don't spend too much until you got a great idea as to how your close-to-final build will start to look like. Good luck!

Yes, im realizing that as my brawler’s lv go up, and i fight bosses and mini bosses, that my playstyle Is different from others and i should base my equips and skill builds on that.

It is always helpful to have something to reference on, and also knowing xtals that are essential for the build helps as well.

    On the side note:
Can you also give a combo for chariot with good proration.
    Guys thanks for the tips

Most people do impact>chariot(sm)>finale(sm) but i do impact<chariot(sm)<warcry(sa)<finale(sm) because i gotta squeeze out every single drop of dps that i can lol

If you go knuckle+dagger, you can use Arcane Strike lvl6 (save) as the ending combo to get a ~20 ampr (?) bonus until your next skill. Bonus is that it doesn’t drain your MP when used as save ended, and it gives incentive to auto attack for proration. That’s from memory though, so check skill thread for more accurate numbers. Shield has its benefits, but
I prefer dagger because I don’t like the looks of shields haha.

Impact>chariot (smite)>backstep (cons) is also another proration-neutral option if you stay within impact range and offers some extra movement. You could also do impact>chariot>backstep>shell break (cons) if you want to get some armor break in; the backstep lets you pause the combo before moving in for SB, and you can use Shukuchi dash to auto cancel SB too.

Machina ring is nice for combinations like Deniala+Titeres or Deniala+Venena. The 1k HP boost helps because a glass cannon brawler = a dead one, especially since brawlers end up tanking usually. Or Seele+Venena if you’re still lacking crit.
