Reflect, and Saber Aura? Open Discussion

First of all, it's been a while since the last time i wrote a thread in this forum, now i want to open a discussion
I tried something, saber aura, new skill from dual sword, with that you can't die while get attacked by monster / boss, and the damage stay the same, before the skill released, i did a reflect test at empress with 279m dmg from empress, but reflect can't deal damage if you die, now there is saber aura to prevent die, and i tried it

I did it, 12m reflect, but the empress not die, i thought it because we can't reflect damage after saber aura, then i tried at lavarca

I can kill lavarca, my hp only 2k, the damage is 4k, and saber aura prevent me from death, and the lavarca is dead, but why empress not die?
What do you guys think? Bug? Or there is a limit for reflected damage?

Probably a bug. Maybe they will fix it so that cant reflect damage if survived from saber aura just so that the reflect stat remains useless forever. :^]

 

For a sec i think it works, but after that it was like empress heal herself again lol

 

Try at mini boss. Sg or seraph machina see if they can be killed or do they regen hp immediately as well.

 

It could be intentional, as it would be too OP if it works. People would abuse this method for every battle. Even in gem runs as drop rate gems makes the boss deal more dmg = more reflect. The game would be broken and not fun anymore.

Maybe they should add a cap for reflected damage. Not in percentage but as a fixed value (like the 99k HP cap).

Since to get that much dmg taken is not that easy, and ut because -666% light resist, so only light boss / mobs
BUT once again, it look like simple, but to get it to deal that much dmg with -666% light resist is not easy too, you need to know how reflect work, and how to get more damage, and teamwork still needed here, i could say, the only boss possible to get over 200k reflect dmg is light element, other than that, impossible

 

Other than that empress laser, i could barely get 100k dmg tho, max 170k

 

Ah sorry, my bad. I forgot it has to be against a light element enemy. Not to mention light ele bosses/minibosses are quite rare. But what about light ele attacks? Is there a lot of light ele attacks used by non light ele mobs? But even then those attacks may deal little damage, we wouldn't bother with them.

Well, we still don't know if it's intentional or a bug. But if you said the boss healed, then it probably is a bug. Maybe the game couldn't register such a high damage dealt in one blow, it reverted the HP back to full.

I dont think I remember any non light boss using light ele attacks. Its always dark ele attacks that has to be added on every single boss despite them not being dark element.

Use brigandine :v and snowman garb for -70% fire resist. We have a lot of gears that have -ele resist and these gears are really good for suicide squad _(._.)_.

Remember PS dealt 999999999 damage and it still work. I don't think it's because of the amount of damage dealt. But the bug in the game mechanics itself

 

Cant do that much dmg to a boss on PS

Just because its slightly green doesnt make it light element. It is light element only if it can deal massive damage to lil devil garb user so nope.

 

That 99999999 PS damage can only trigger on mobs. It is an intended mechanic to be able to insta kill a mob if the chance procs.

 

Dev just need to copy-paste the magadachi script then this bug will be fixed.

 

Well, at the least, this let's a DW just be the dedicated cannon fodder on gem run PTs, and let the rest deal with a near dead light elem boss. xD
